Good little boxes

Not knowing anything about vacuum savers in general, I learned a lot from this purchase. At first it sounded pricy, but then I realized after one or two uses, the why. The container has to be of high quality, otherwise it will collapse, that is give under the strain of the pressure in it. I warped one of mine the first time. Also a very positive aspect is that it has a 3 year warrenty. To me this signals quality, at least in the case of this item. I find the containers very, very handy,because I can prepare my veg and have it ready for juicing on those busy days, and secondly, I will probably save a fortune on waste, as well as avoid friction when my partner does the shopping for me. so, as you can see, many, many plusses. I only wish that the containers came in bigger sizes. However, it is always wise to read up on "vacuuming food" before you buy, to see if it is for you.

This is the second set of these boxes I have purchased - so I must like them. I bought the first set of three 600ml containers as a trial and they worked very well so I went on to buy this set to offer me more choice of sizes. The vacuum is easy to attain and definitely keeps food fresh for a few days longer than in non-vacuum containers. Delivery was speedy and the boxes arrived in good condition.

Holds the seal very well indeed; over a long period of time!Only down side is those with infirm hands will have difficulty with the pump.The lids on the larger units do tend to sag down.

Good quality for that small price. Keeps fruits salad fresh for few days as I wanted.I wouldn't recommend to keep processed food for longer then 3-4 days.

Broke after one week. So disappointed. Lid cracked on one, rubber seal broke on the other. Pump worked well while it lasted...
