Used them for the stadium seat upgrade and kayak paddle holder. Held fine and i don’t seem worried they’ll pull out after my last fishing endeavor (had to be there) Saved the rivet kit in my cart in case i need more. Highly recommend this kit and used a $10 harbor freight pop rivet tool with no problems. Comes with the o-rings but i dipped the rivets in silicone for extra leak protection. Plenty of YouTube vids if you’re not sure how to use these.

I didn’t realize when I bought these that they were plastic. I was questioning if they would hold up to the stresses of bungees on a kayak. They have been on a few outings now and performed great. No issues. I had a pneumatic rivet gun so install was a breeze. I would and probably will buy again if I need more.

Use a 3/16 size bit.

The friend of mine gave me a very high-end kayak, but it been sitting out for several years. Got these, and several other things, and fixed it all up. These are almost exactly like the originals. I even screwed up and use them for the wrong purpose, and they were able to hold the entire kayak on just two of these. The only problem is, I ran out, and now I need to get more.

Allowed my to add an additional hold line all around my kayak. I can use the line to lash equipment to, or to right the boat in the water. The expanding rivets negated any need for reinforcement where they go thru the hull. The eyelets are large enough for 3/8 inch rope, but I just used para-cord and I'm also going to run some bungie cord thru as well.
