I bought a Nady boom arm a while back and almost immediately, part of the clamp bent. It held up fine, but I wanted something sturdier. I bought a different arm and moved this one to my recording PC in the back. The nady clamp wouldn't work...the desk was too thick. It's over 2.5".My search on Amazon brought to this and I took a chance.It worked flawlessly. The clamp easily handled the desk, feels sturdy, and keeps the arm in place. That thing's not moving unless I work to move it. The boom arm fit snugly down in the clamp and now I'm good to go on either computer I use. I love this thing and won't hesitate to tell friends to pick one up, especially if they pick up a cheaper arm.

Best purchase! I have been so pleased with the quality. My last boom mic arm came with a faulty base and this was such an upgrade. Will definitely purchase again for another room! 10/10

I'm usually suspicious of table side mic mounts. This one impressed me and I'm glad I bought it. Sturdy and thoughtfully designed. I wish I'd used this method long ago.

I've been waiting on a sturdy clamp like this. Especially the screw torque head. The others would always break off they way they're build. This one is way more secure and very, very, very sturdy and solid. About to order 2 more.

This is just a well designed and sturdy boom utility for attaching on a table (or wherever you need it) for the proper and flexible placement of your studio microphone. My booth wouldn’t be functional without it!

Seems solid after a few days and worked well with the articulating mic arm.

Only had it for a day, but VERY easily can recommend it. I have 2 cheap boom arms, one for a light and one for a HyperX mic. Both of the booms have great arms, but the clamps were abysmal. The one for my light actually completely just snapped like a week after I got it, and the one for my mic has been bent since the day I got it, so I will be ordering another one of these. These are thicker where they need to be, without adding bulk so it is still a low profile clamp for your desk. Highly recommend.

I had a lamp on my desk with an infuriating base that wasn't wide or heavy enough to keep the dang thing upright so I went looking for a new lamp and realized I could just buy this instead! I love it, and it could be used for anything with a swing arm like a lamp or microphone stand. Very sturdy and nice looking.

Me gusta que es muy robusto y queda muy bien sujeto el microfono.Lo que me a parecido es un poco caro, pero compensa.
