The day the pepper powder arrived, I opened it up and started putting it on my food. I like hot peppers, but I'm not allowed to grind them up in a coffee grinder at home. So it is nice to be able to buy powder and have it come in a container that dispenses it like this. It is strong enough that I have to be careful with it, so it is going to last a long time even with daily use.

Really hot nice for jerky

I purchased this chili pepper powder to deter a cat from doing it's business in the garden. My wife had been trying to keep the cat away using various means, none of which worked. I laid out the contents of an expired bottle of bear spray (does bear spray ever expire?) and judiciously sprinkled the Carolina Reaper on top of it. The cat has NEVER been back!

I put this on almost everything including salad.I don't find it too hot. I also don't notice any flavour just a bite of heat that doesn't last very long.I pour it on the same as I do with salt and pepper.It does make my nose run and wash your hands after eating.
