These definitely work for moles.

These work great
Haven’t had a mouse or mole problem since installing these. The sound they give off is noisier than I expected but I can deal with them since they work so well

Well the IDEA is good, but these are cheap, breakable, and the moles quickly learn
A neighbor had a major mole problem in his yard, installed a grid of these, and they disappeared. As a professional gardener, I was impressed, and I bought several sets for my huge yard. For the first 48 hours the moles all disappeared from their usual decades-old runways.Immediately units started to fail--stayed continuously on until dead, went from a loud noise to a "wimp and stop sound", or the switches broke. One arrived with said switch broken. The solar charge did not last all night on all units, so the moles can lie in wait until late at night.I think these could be useful for a small and level, defined area with clear borders. But if you have big trees with mole cubbies underneath, or a low deck, or a rockery where the existing network of runways has been defined and used for generations, like I do, you quickly realize that the moles, although initially taken aback by the sound, quickly learn there is no danger and push right past them to get to the age-old hunting grounds. (Like a dog in heat will ignore the shock of an invisible fence to get to the other side)These MUST be installed by digging a deep hole first--you cannot push them in, or screw them in, or they will break. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAPI was really hopeful at first, and ordered several more sets, all of which will now be returned. The only way is the tried-and-true method of waiting in a chair at dawn or dusk, and if you see movement, quickly dig out the mole and whack it. Also using a mole repellent or ferrous sulfate (which creates an acid when mixed with wet soil in a burrow) are methods that have achieved for me success. The only vibrations I've ever seen move a mole are loud and major--a lawnmower or power edger, for example, will send them scurrying and make their new surface runs immediately visible. The idea that tiny vibrations on a 20-second interval is somewhat suspect. 20 seconds is long enough for a mole to swim through several feet of nice soft earth and circumvent. the stake. Also, it occurs to me that short small vibrations actually may put worms on the move--like the sound of surface rainfall or mowing the yard or whacking the ground with a stick like they do in those English competitions. Therefore, it is entirely possible that the buzzers actually make worms move, and since that's a moles favorite--almost exclusive --prey, they may in fact be attracted to the buzzers.(Ours are Western and Star-nosed moles--I cannot speak to effectiveness on any other species)

No more garter snakes...fingers crossed!
Easy to put in the ground after a good rain. They're pushed down into the ground far enough but the lawnmower man insists I remove them b4 he mows. I've seen just a few new mole mounds, 2 or 3, but I think they were just evacuating. I haven't seen anymore garter SNAKES!!!!! YAY!!!! And these do not scare away the birds which I am very happy about!

AMAZING STORY - You have to read this
I've purchased other Mole Repellers before. I had neighbor that was having major issue with Moles & their Holes in the front and back yard. Their yard looks like a dug up mine field. My mother-in-law saw this and ask them about it. She said they had tried everything to get rid of them and nothing had worked. My mother-in-law told them I use Mole Repellers to get rid of them years ago. The neighbor ask if I would purchase some for them and they would reimburse me for them. I couldn't find the ones I ordered in the past. So I ordered a pack of 4 from this seller. I heard back a week after I had given them to the neighbor. She said she had put all 4 in her small front yard. This is the amazing part. She said within hours she saw moles coming out of the ground during the day. (I guess they couldn't stand the underground vibration). She ordered 4 more for her back yard that same day. Now she has no more moles or new holes. Of course she needs to fix the past damage to her lawn they had already caused. I wish I would have gotten video of this.

They Work
I haven't had a single new mole tunnel since I started using these in mid July. I am using only 3 for .35 acres. I would buy again.

A humane solution that is effective
I live in Central Florida. After the dry season, when the ground is as hard as cement, the rains return and the soil becomes moist and pliable again. Along with the rain come moles. They were tearing up my front lawn and backyard. I did not want to use poison and thought I would give these a try based on customer reviews. I don't want to kill them. But I did need to stop the destruction.I prepped a hole for the stakes and lowered the head to just above ground level. I did not want anyone tripping on them. One was placed on center on either side of our driveway. You can hear them when you turn them on. But once you stand up you will have to listen very closely to hear it. These are quite durable (have stepped on then a few times) and they actually work! I have not seen a new mole tunnel since installing. The rain and intense Florida sun does not affect them. I live on a quarter acre lot and just the two out front is all I need. Will be installing the other two in the back yard next.

Doesn’t phase the rodents
Haven’t seen the javelina or coyotes since I put them out, but the ground squirrels, rabbits and rats don’t seem phased
