It wobbles like crazy
I love the fan. It works great for what I’m using it for…a closet grow room tent. It syncs with the govee hygrometer which is nice. If only the hygrometer was anywhere close to accurate it would be perfect. I’ve had to just leave it on in stead of using it’s smart functions.Having said that, that fan blows very hard at top speed and cool air.I do recommend this product even though it wobbles a bit. I can’t believe I haven’t seen that in a review. I definitely have everything out together right. It’s like 3 pieces total and a few screws. Pretty hard to mess upThe problem is simple. The base is skinny as a toothpick!Stupid design. Great concept that still works pretty good.I still recommend it.

Best fan we have ever had
I love Govee products. They are well made and so easy to use. We needed a new fan for our bedroom and I saw Govee had one and knew it was the fan for us. Our order arrived quickly but it was sent with 2 front pieces for the base. Contacted Govee and they immediately sent a back piece for the base. Set the fan up and it's is quiet and cools our room really well. Then the fan started to make a weird sound. Again contacted Govee and sent them a video of the noise. They immediately sent us a whole new fan. Fantastic company who really cares about their customers and who stand behind their products which I have always found top notch.

Works alright for a while
Bought this in late June 2023 to circulate fresh air in my room. It's worked pretty well until recently. The oscillation motor has developed a horrible noise at both ends of its rotation, which sucks for me as I use it most often while I'm sleeping.

A tad expensive for the plastic feel
It's easy to use, automatically updated in Google Home App, easy to install. No complaints. I bought all Govee products for my home and it's more economic than some bigger name brands, however not sacrificing features and functionality. Plastic is not sturdy, but hold together well.

Keeps me cool at the right times!
Absolutely thrilled with this purchase! Its hot season now, meaning that my air conditioner can't always keep up, so this has been an absolute necessity!!! Quieter than expected, but also provides some gentle white noise.I feel spoiled with the smart features. I have it scheduled to turn on at my typical 'in bed' time, turn a bit stronger deeper into the night, and off around my alarm. If I wake up and need it higher or lower, all I have to do is say "Hey Alexa, turn fan to #(1-8)" and drift back to sleep!I have my unit set up to face my bed at its farthest rotation, and face my art desk in the opposite rotation so it's easy to hit both spots (or stop at whichever one is needed at the time).Assembly was a bit tricky, had to get some help from someone a tad stronger. I was also hesitant because I didn't want to break the base. Govee has always been stupendous with their customer service though so I had confidence to be able to reach out if needed.

Slowly Going Bad - Sort of meets my needs with a slight caveat(s)
UPDATE 06-24-2023This fan is consistently getting worse. It is in operation 24/7. It is hot here. I mostly use Auto set for 70F to 80F. My issue with the caveat explained in my original review is now permanent, regardless of where it is placed and removing the back access panel has no affect. On speed 7 and 8, the fan chokes. The air will feel like it is getting clogged, slow down, then speed up. This process also creates a significant wobble. If it is the only fan running, I can easily hear the slow down and speed up of the fan and is very distracting. It is NOT on Nature.I can NOT recommend this fan. I would NOT buy again.UPDATE 06-22-2023My fan just started making the electrical hum at low speeds. It starts at level 5 all the way down to level 1. The noise is significant, especially at lower speeds. It is not vibrating on the floor because I picked it up, held it and then just felt to see if it was vibrating on the floor, it was not. I took another star off for this fault. I post this review at 3 stars now.Another oddity regarding the app. Everything was working correctly in the app since I received the fan and setup the app. Then, almost at the same time as the electrical noise, the app needed to download resources for the fan. I was not home, thought nothing of it, and attempted to download the resources. The resources would not download on wifi or 3 bars of 5g (android 13 phone). I attempted when I got home, and it did work (same network as fan). It almost seemed like I had to be connected on Bluetooth to get the resources for the app. If that is the case, that is bad programming for an update, if that is what the resource was.ORIGINAL REVIEWThis fan is quiet and moves a decent amount of air. In pure air movement, it will not be able to compete with a box or circular fan. However, it has a much smaller size and is much quieter than the other two types of fans. At level 5, I can start to feel the air move at 10 feet away. At this level, I know a fan is on, but is not overbearing and I can have discussions without talking louder. I briefly had a similar Dre0 brushless tower fan. Each moved a very similar amount of air with about the same amount of noise. These are my subjective measurements using my skin and ears. I do not hear any odd noises from the fan at low speeds, mechanical or electrical. The price is great for the features, which is why I kept the fan despite the issue outlined below.I do like the fan. However, there is one problem that I have and has been described in other reviews. I have my fan next to a wall, the base of the fan touches the baseboard. In this position, the fan will get "clogged" when on level 8 (I have not experimented with the other levels). This means that the air movement gets slowed down to the point where there is very little air coming out of the fan in about 2" of the tower. The other sections are not affected. Eventually it will correct itself and return to normal. This is a repeating process that can be fairly annoying.Customer service was quick to respond to email regarding this issue. However, there is a placement restriction on this tower fan of at least 20" (50cm) per customer service. I read in some other places of the web that this is common to have at least 8" from any large obstruction, which is mostly covered by the base of this fan. I did move the fan to the middle of my hallway and the frequency of the issue dropped drastically. However, in my particular situation, this does not work because I have a narrow hallway I want to have the fan in. My solution was to pop off the rear access cleaning panel (top red arrow) and moved it down (lower blue arrow) and hold it in place with a rubber band. Yes, this does expose the moving blades, but I do not have any living beings in my home that will injure themselves with the blades being exposed. I did not want to have to do this, but I like the fans other characteristics. For the good. I like the app for Android, despite the ads for their products. There is no remote, but I have never used a fan remote. I do not even use the remotes for the AC units I have. This fan connects via Bluetooth and WiFi. It connects to Bluetooth first upon initial setup so it can connect the fan to your WiFi easier (this process eliminates the need to connect to a device in the devices WiFi Settings and then connect back to your own WiFi). I can control the fan and see the temperature the fan records when I am not at home. It does take a few seconds to connect to the device, but that is like a lot of other Govee products. I does connect successfully all the time in my experience. I like that all my Govee devices are in one app and are all, even this tower fan, Google compliant. My network is a combined 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. There were no issues finding or connecting to my network. There really is no need for this device to have 5Ghz in my opinion. The oscillation is suitable for me. It is only 80 degrees, but it works for me. The other fan I briefly had was 120 degrees.I had no issues assembling it, but I am no stranger to assembling and even deciphering instructions. It took about 5 minutes to unpackage and assemble. 1 minute to install the app. 3 minutes to connect to the fan and control it. It was slightly easier to setup than the Kasa line of devices. It is stable and not easy to know over. I have rambunctious cat that love to parkour down the hall the fan is in. It has not fallen over. There is a very slight wobble at high speeds, but I have to specifically look for it and stare at the fan to notice it.The temperature seems to be accurate to plus/minus 1 degree, as compared to and environmental thermometer. The auto function is a nice feature (other fans have this function too). I like to be able to set the speed at which the fan operates at a specific range of temperature. There was nothing else to buy to get this to work. It all comes with the fan and is built in. I have not used natural or sleep modes.I have not used the diffuser, nor do I plan to.[EDIT] I would NOT buy again.
