Plane [Blu-ray] [DVD]

It's a good plot line for this type of movie. There were some twists and turns from what I thought was going to happen with the trailers and certain characters, which I enjoyed the surprises.I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, however I feel it did lack a little more thrust that would have put it into the 5 star category. I hate to say that because so many movies coming out right now are just crap. This definitely is a great movie, but just missing a little something. There are some "sentimental" moments that sort of detract it from being a high Hollywood film and give it a slightly more Hallmark feel during those moments, which I'm just not that kind of movie watcher. I like a little grit. There were also some pretty messed up and fantastic gun scenes which were a bit shocking and different from what I've seen in other gunfights, which was great for action scenes.Had the sentimental parts been taken out and replaced with a bit more amp, this probably would've boosted it into the 5 star rating for me.With that being said, it was still worth the $6 pricing tier. If you're not in the mood to be totally amped or like a little pizazz but not too much to trigger your anxiety, this is a great movie. I loved the two main actors Gerard Butler and Mike Coulter, they really made this film pop. I've always like Butler, and we need to see more of Coulter in other films too. He's great.

This was a good movie. I enjoyed it. The only thing I don't like about the rental procedures, is that I couldn't watch it on my TV and have my dad watching it on his TV in the livingroom... we had to watch it at separate times.

I’m giving 4 stars because I have seen way worse. It is a typical movie with a typical ending however, so Don’t expect to be blown away.

Lot's of action,decent writing with believable story line"well kinda"definitely worth a view on those stay at home nights...hopefully this is helpful to someone:)

Whether comedy or drama or action I like Gerard Butler. Without him this would probably be a 3 star movie. With him, its a pretty good action yarn with a great lead actor.

This was a good movie. Husband and I enjoyed it. Enough action to keep us entertained from beginning to end. Our local movie reporter on the morning news said this was a good movie to watch and he was right.

What I feel would have made the movie a 5*: 1) A longer, more complicated, more suspenseful, more tense hostage situation. 2) Filling-out the role of the murder suspect/legionnaire a bit more. He is an important, even likeable character in the movie. After he takes the money and disappears into the jungle I imagine him getting stealing one the the terrorist boats and making it to another island. At the end of the movie there could be a clip of him landing somewhere and heading off into a city with the bag of money slung over his shoulder :-)

I don't expect much nowadays from these "hijacked innocents must be saved by pilot and innocent bad guy" but was actually pretty good.
