I bought this USB Mini B 5 Pin Charging Cord mainly to use with my older devices, including a Numark DJ2Go2 mini dj controller and my GoPro Hero 3+, and it’s been fantastic! The braided design feels durable and high-quality, making it seem like it will last much longer than standard cables. I also appreciate that it supports both charging and data sync, so I don’t have to switch cables to transfer files.The connection feels snug, and I haven't had any issues with loose connections or it popping out accidentally. It’s also great to have USB-C compatibility as most of my newer devices are USB-C, so this cable fits seamlessly into my setup. Overall, highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable Mini B charging cable!

Pretty darn good cable for what you pay

The braided cables work much better in the cold winter than the plastic cables. I use this to charge my phone when traveling. They are softer and hang off the dash nicely during the colder months.

The size is slightly big but still works for my needs I’m using this cord for a gimbal for my canon T7 and it works great for what I need, the quality of the cord is very good hasn’t been finicky or spotty

These have a nice snug fit, and a durable covering. Highly recommended.

This is a great thing to have if you want to connect some older devices to say your macbook that only has thunderbolt port. This is not a thunderbolt cable but will work on a thunderbolt or type c port. I actually am able to plug in my older hard drives that still use this USB mini B into my macbook pro. The cable itself is very durable and made of nylon fiber so you do not have to worry about fraying. It does do data transfer but be aware you are limited by the USB mini B port. The plugs hold well and I have not seen any kind of issue with it accidentally getting disconnected if you bump it. It does not require any additional power in order to power the hard drive which is great. It does do data transfer fast than it would with a normal USB B mini to USB A which is great. Overall this is a great cable to have if you are trying to connect older devices in newer ports. It is very durable and has no issue with connectivity. You also get a good length so you do not have to have the device right next to you.

Didn't work

We still have some devices that need Micro-USB to charge, like the couple of Kindles that we have laying around the house. Unfortunately, our drawer of cables and adapters have grown way out of control, and to mitigate it, are getting rid of the older USB-A cables and chargers with the rectangular connector to consolidate. This cable helps us achieve that better cable management utopia.The cable itself is thick and feels like a heavier gauge wire was used. While it is thick, it forms and winds up nicely with feeling overly stiff. The braiding is something a little more in between a nylon and fabric weave but feels nice to the touch. It is not the most super-pliable wire, but it feels like quality and it wont fail on me in a few months.The connectors are another nice point. They are solid and don’t feel like they will wiggle loose over time.Overall, a nice cable to cover the gap between old and new power adapters where I don’t feel like I will need to hold onto other Micro-USB cables.
