The fact they are for left handers is great. They are good quality shears. Did not run into any problems using these.

I have to admit I was surprised at the good reviews of these scissors, once I received and used mine. I also admit I only bought them because I'm left-handed and have been looking (sporadically)for a pair of pinking shears for awhile now. As a point of reference, my other two pairs of regular cutting scissors are Ghinger, which are superb but also much more costly so I wasn't expecting these, at a fraction of the price, to be anything great.As another reviewer said, you get what you pay for and at this price, it isn't a great deal. They don't handle nicely and don't cut cleanly like good pinking shears (or good scissors in general) do - nowhere near it. I can see already that fabric I recently cut with them will fray again. As I said, I bought them because I got tired of trying to find a decent pair of left-handed shears and bought these to tide me over until I get an overlocker.If you want pinking shears that will only be used occasionally I guess these are fine but if you'll be using them on a regular basis and are right-handed (or are left-handed and have better research skills than I, in which case I'd like to hear about it!), I strongly suggest paying the extra for a better pair. I tossed up giving these 2 stars but have given them 3 stars on the basis that they're ok (ish) and cheap.

A good product overall and they cut well. The only issue is that they are very stiff which causes my hand to ache.

I use my left hand but I never bought scissors for lefties. But the fact that these ones are for both made me pick these and so far so good.

Not as comfortable as expected so returned and bought Fiskars

These work a treat, right to the tip of the blades, which my last pair did not do.

I have a older pair of Fiskar’s pinking shears, they were expensive and could become a little uncomfortable when cutting for a significant length of time. I was intrigued by these Hemline pinking shears as they have a ball bearing. For under £15, I wasn’t expecting much but have been pleasantly surprised: They are very comfortable, the ball bearing creates an even pressure resulting in smooth cutting action. I can recommend them.
