Was wondering if I needed to replace the complete security lock when the door handles started to droop. Dismantled the door lock in order to find out the model and type to order. This unit was good quality, cheap and did the job perfectly.Very happy.

I've just ordered my second one of these. This second order is to replace the one I bought 2 years ago, which has just failed, leaving me unable to open the door. I had to take the door off its hinges to get the door open, and then access the gearbox. Having removed the failed gearbox, a small piece of metal fell out, it looks like something small has sheared off.It lasted 25 months, which is not great, but at £15 I don't suppose I can complain too much. I might have been less forgiving had we been locked out of the house, fortunately we still had access to the house via the back door.Otherwise it's worked fine for the last 2 years, and as I've just bought another, then that must be some sort of recommendation. With Prime, things should be repaired in the next couple of days.
