What a wonderful solution! I use it for my fellas that are tall during a beardtrim. My chair does lean back but the headrest isn't secure enough for most men as they rest it will buckle down a notch, but with this problem solved. I was concerned Ed that it would be too straight and firm of a board but my client feedback is that it's not only comfortable but is very supportive of an otherwise neglected posture. Most of my shave fall asleep even. I have had mine for over a year and it's still clean and unblemished. Also the cover zipper off it you do need to ever wash the sleeve.

This has been a great addition to my home salon! I am able to do full face shaves and beard grooming as well as facials and many more services comfortably in my hydraulic salon chair.

This was worth every penny! It's super durable, made very well, and is perfect if you have a barber chair that does not have a headrest. It's a little of a learning curve at first positioning it but once you get the right position my clients can go to sleep they are so relaxed and comfortable. The media could not be loaded. We just did facials with my new headrest board and I love it and we had so much fun doing it! Using this headrest has made a world of difference for me. I am older, and it is harder for me to lean over a chair with no neck protection and this headrest is a game changer for me. My daughter is a hairdresser and instead of going into the salon she does my hair at home and it is made a world of difference washing my hair over the sink or the tub. The salon headrest is lightweight and the inside is made of wood and the cover is a soft leather like feel. This headrest weighs only 2 pounds making it super portable and it measures at. 28”D x 6”W x 6”H which makes it easy for me to use. When we did facials, I was able to stay in one position for over 20 minutes, which I can never do in a regular chair or without the headrest board. My mom is a makeup artist and often has to do video shoots on locations where they don't have real makeup chairs. I got this to make it easier on her back.She says it really helps a lot. She can take a more natural standing position without having to squat down in front of her clients. She says it's best when you place it a bit at an angle and not straight against the chair back. It's also comfortable to sit in. I sat in it as she tried it out for the first time and it's got a nice neck pad so that there's no discomfort.It could be a bit more portable but she's able to strap this to her makeup bag for when she travels and it doesn't add too much weight. Still, she wishes it had an option to fold up. Overall, she's really happy with it.
