Apologies in advance for the lengthy explanation but I wanted to be thorough. I study ECE and like to collect gadgets. I bought this moon lamp for myself.Shipment time - Shipment was a bit slow as I was expecting 2 day delivery for Amazon Prime and it arrived 2 days later.Packaging - The packaging of the product looked very clean and with simple yet elegant style.The ball was rested in a special cavity that held it in place and underneath was a sponge like base which held the USB charger and a box with the cable as well as the wooden magnetic mount.Lamp Design - When I opened the box, the moon lamp was a simple white plastic ball which initially seemed a bit dull. It was wrapped in a plastic bag for extra protection. However, I have to admit that once the ball lights up, it is quite impressive! Surprisingly, it looks better in real life than in the photos. It looks like very realistic replica of the moon.Battery Power - It comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion Polymer 3.7/500mAh, 2.4Watt battery. Description says it can hold for 10 hours so I tested it. It came charged; however, I decided to fully charge it for the night and after an hour it was fully charged. Based on the instructions it takes 2 hours to fully charge so it's in line given it was partially charged. I left the light on with full brightness the first night and checked back after 8 hours and it was still lit as strong as initially started. Afterwards it slightly toned down, but it was hardly noticeable. After a full 12 hours it was still working, although with a very weak light, and finally powered off after 14 hours. This is quite impressive but as expected from a Lithium-Ion Polymer this big to stay on that long. Promised and delivered.Wooden Mount - this part was really cool. The magnets make it into a quick mind game of how to connect 3 V shapes into a wooden base for a large 5.9" ball. It took my 7 year old about 30 seconds so not bad at all. He kept playing with it to improve his speed. The magnets are a nice addition as they allow the pieces to fully connect without any gaps. Well-thought feature!Charger - This unit comes with its own USB wall charger. This is a big bonus as I have bought a wall charger for my iPhone several times and it's not cheap. It looks and feels just like it. The USB cable that comes with it is 6ft long so enough length to connect to a remote computer or outlet.Manual - It comes with a short instruction manual. It's very easy to operate without but was still handy. On the back, however, was a short explanation of the moon phases, moon map and some cool fact of the moons tidal forces. Very educational for the little one who immediately after went to explore the lamp and find locations from the images.In all, I must say they thought of everything, the strong and sturdy design, elegant wooden mount that can be easily put together, extra wall charger and extra long USB cable, and the best was the map of the moon which we will keep for our own educational purposes. Highly recommended!!

The Mitos Crecent is a one piece construction work of art. It is easy to operate and beautiful. Hold the moon in your hand! Do you like the bright white moon you see high in the night sky or the dim yellow one just peeking above the horizon because you can see either with this lamp. Wireless and lasts all night off a charge. I obviously love the lamp:)***update: so the charge lasts through the night and then some. My toddler loves it just as much as I do. He’s even learned how to say moon. It sounds more like the sound a cow makes though;) However, he managed to get his hands on it and threw it like a ball onto the carpet and the charge port broke loose and is now rattling around inside with no way to access the port. Now I can see the benefit of the some of the other moon products I read about that have an attachment at the bottom which would allow you to access the inside for repairs. So while the solid one piece construction looks fantastic and really is quite beautiful it makes it impossible to repair without moon surgery.*****2nd update: it looks like the seller is reading the reviews! My grandson loves this. But it does not just plug in like a normal night lamp. The darn thing has to be charged up every day. That’s a hassle.

Excellent quality and excellent customer service! I've gotten a couple of these as gifts for persons ranging from 2 years old to 30..they're quite realistic and you can definitely tell they are really 3D printed because the Unibody design. I took that into consideration before purchasing for a toddler because they should not be able to break it in pieces which could be hazardous. The unibody design ensures all ages can have a fun with the lamp as it's only one piece and cannot be taken apart. The glow of the lamp in the dark is really quite magical! You feel like you grabbed the moon directly from the sky! Also, the seller is really kind and helpful. When amazon delayed my order, the seller called on my behalf to find out the reason for the delay and with their help the package arrived shortly after. The lamp is definitely worth the amount paid, I highly recommend it. Sadly they sell so quickly because they're better quality than the others found on amazon, I'll be purchasing more in the future when it's available!:)

Buy elsewhere! The part where it charges was recessed and if I try to charge it the port will pop in and rattle around inside. Since it is all one piece there is no way to reattach it. I worked great until the power ran out but with no way to charge it again it looks silly sitting on the mantle. This was a gift and and we didn't realize it until it was time to charge it up. Now I wished I had gone with another brand since there are so many moon lamps out there. If you buy one of these one piece moon lamps make sure the charging port is level and secure inside.

I charged my Moon Lamp upon arrival, and when I turned it on at sunset I could not believe how absolutely, incredibly beautiful it is. I'm so glad I decided to buy "your" moon lamp. Your lamp is elegant, fabulous, amazingly life-like, and I like the idea of choosing a cool white "winter moon" or a "summer moon" with the warm yellow glow. Honestly, every time I gaze at that mini-moon, it brings a smile to my face. It's just as sweet as can be. I didn't purchase this lamp for a child, grandchild -- it's for me, a 66-year-old nature lover. Seriously, Mitos Creations team, you nailed it! Kudos and congratulations on this delightful product -- the attention to detail, the simple, tasteful stand, and the magic it brings to any room. In addition, the customer service with this company is outstanding!

I recently received my package of the moon lamp and was disappointed with the fact that it’s missing a leg to complete the stand.How can I get the missing leg?
