Description

This module is ideally suited to adding a magnetic float switch to your project. This is a reed switch, which triggers when a corresponding magnetic field pulls apart the metal reeds within the housing. On doing so the output will read LOW. The reed switch is mounted within the shaft of the switch, with the float carrying the magnet. This allows you to mount the float into the roof of a liquid tank, as the tank fills the float will rise.
