Many issues with these earrings.I bought these earrings because I wanted a pair of pearl earrings that had shorter posts (details say intended for children’s ears). I also liked the fact that they had silicone covered backs to help minimize the poking. I first bought these in the smaller size (4/5mm) and those definitely have a shorter post. They were perfect.Issue #1: The backings on all sizes of these pearls are silicone, which is one of the reasons I bought these. However, they do not keep the earring in your ear. Forget trying to take off a pullover sweatshirt because they’ll come off with it. However, I combatted this problem by using backings from other earrings.Issue #2: When I lost one of my smaller sized pearls, I bought these ones in the next mm size up (5/6mm) and the posts are NOT the same!! They had too long of posts and I got poked! Ugh. No fun. Nevertheless, I liked them so I got into the habit of just taking them off every night.Overall would have given them a 4 star. Issue #3: I downgraded the rating to a 2 star after the pearl separated from the post after only 2 weeks! I have the correct glue to reglue them back together, but I expected these to last longer than 2 weeks.In summary, I do not recommend these earrings in any size for long term wear. Though the 4/5mm ones are better than the larger ones if you’re looking for short posts like I was.

These earrings are TERRIBLE QUALITY. After 1 month, the post of one of the earring broke in half. I was still able to use the shortened post until the post broke in half AGAIN. Now these earring are no longer wearable. The other earring had problems as well - the post (cheaply glued into a hole at the back of the pearl) completely came unglued from the pearl. I had to super glue the post back onto the pearl.This is unacceptable for a $45 pair of fake pearl earrings. I have bought countless pairs of pearl earrings before, at least 30 pairs. And they are usually extremely cheap (less than $20) and low quality. And even with the lowest quality pair of earrings I've owned, I have NEVER experienced posts breaking in half or dislodging from the pearl.In summary, this is the MOST I have ever paid for fake pearl earrings and the WORST quality pair by far.(Pros of these earrings: They are great for sensitive skin and did not turn my ears green)

Nothing but happy with this purchase. My wife love her pearls. They are very high quality and beautiful. She is been wearing them every day without taking them off and there is no sign of deterioration. They are perfect and if she is happy I'm happy too! Best gift for her and our little baby pearl earrings to match. Thank you

Cheap costume earrings will irritate my ears, I've been on the hunt for studs that can be kept in my ears 24/7. These are wonderful and don't irritate my ears at all. I've lost one post back, it could be kind of slippery.

~The pearls are authentic and of equal size & quality~The gold has not turned color (I’ve been wearing them for a week straight)~You can sleep in them with no discomfort~These have the most AMAZING earring backs I’ve ever used (a combo of gold and silicone)~They come with a polishing cloth and extra backs

I am quite pleased with the 5-5.5 mm child size pearl earrings. The posts are short enough to not poke into my neck while sleeping and my hyper-sensitive lobes have had no negative reactions. Really good for daily wear. The 7-7.5 mm I originally bought were beautiful but too big for my tiny ear lobes and I had to remove them to sleep. I would recommend these.

Beautiful. They are gorgeous and easy to put on and take off. I was also impressed with the way they arrived. Beautiful outside bos with the earrings inside in a felt bag. Also a polishing cloth was included. Wonderful touch. Made you feel special from the time you opened the box. Well done!

These are beautiful and the perfect size. The backs fit securely but are easy to get on and off. Best of all, the earrings do not cause any allergic reactions or skin irritation, which is a huge problem for me. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
