Great replacement
Great replacement for our Bunn coffee pot. People at work kept breaking the glass Bunn pots so we switched and haven’t had a problem yet.

Product
Sad that this company says manufacturer USA but the products are from other countries which means it’s possibly made without USA standards that may have lead, mercury, chemicals or harmful poison within this item coffee decanter?

It's a squat pot so it fits nicely on lower racks that have less height
This coffee pitcher comes the closest to what I want.1. I was looking for a beverage container that would fit on a lower shelf of the refrigerator. We have storage issues and sometimes have four gallons of milk on the top shelf of the refrigerator so no more room for anything else. It's a squat pot so it fits nicely on lower racks that have less height.2. The pitcher does hold two quarts of liquids. A smaller size than this pot is not useful for ice tea or coffee or kiddy beverages. I checked to see if it held enough by filling a plastic container to the two quart mark then poured it into the stainless pitcher. It held the two quarts with a bit of room to spare. It will not hold two liters though.3. I'm looking to replace as much plastic food containers as possible. I like stainless steel because it's less likely to break than glass. Stainless mattered to me more than anything else.4. It pours nicely. No drips.Cons: The lid is lacking. I find the hinge to be a bit fragile and an issue in the dish washer as I have to prop the pot in the dish washer carefully. I would prefer a lid better designed to protect the contents of the pot. I use a lid off a large yogurt container under the hinged lid when storing beverages in the refrigerator. (Not when pouring though). As I said this pot comes the closest to what I want from what I was able to find in my search. I did buy a second one. If I were to design a pitcher it would be stainless steel like this one, have a wide mouth like this one does so I could put slices of fruit in or large tea and coffee defusers in the pot. But the pot I would design would have a lid that would seal against anything that might accidentally drip down from above in the refrigerator. And if the lid is hinged it could be designed to come apart for easy cleaning in a dish washer.____________________________________________I have received my second order of the "same pot". Not the same pot though. The lid fits a little better. As you can see by the side by side photo, this pot is a little smaller. I took the same two quart pitcher with water filled to the two quart line, I poured and it over flowed my new pot. I found that this newer pot holds 1 and 1/3 cup less. There was some time between orders so I'm not to surprised at the difference. I'm no sending it back as it's still the closest I can find to what I want. A nice stainless steel pitcher with a large opening with lid. Would have preferred the full two quarts and a removable sealing lid.

Disappointed--does not hold 64 oz.
I needed a container with a thumb-operated flip top to hold a gallon. This isn't it! I filled four 2-cup measuring cups with water to fill it up and it was full at 56 oz.

A Bit Flimsy and With A Sloppy Lid Hinge
Styled to look like the Nicro 510 and Cory carafe of the 1960s and 70s. Capacity is the same but dimensionally it is not the same so will not work with the Nicro 510 upper to make a complete vacuum coffee maker. The top opening is over .5" larger on this unit. Handle shape is not the same as in the photo as the inner finger grip surface is rounded and shaped. Lid hinge is very sloppy so lid can move side to side by about 1/2 inch or so at the front. Lid does not stay open without being held. Even with the hinged cover, which the Nicro does not have, the unit is considerably lighter and of thinner gauge material. Feels flimsy in comparison to the old Nicro version.Like a fair amount of stainless steel ware being imported at the moment this is made in India per the label on the bottom. No maker's name or indication of stainless steel grade. As it is not magnetic it is likely 18-8 grade stainless steel or close which also means it is not suitable for induction stove or cooktop use without an added induction adapter plate.

Cheap handle
This is a poor knock off of the Bunn stainless decanter. The biggest difference being the handle is just stamped on to the body, look closely at the pictures and you will see there is no clamp. Also, the pour spout has no resevoir groove to help direct the coffee flow making it extremely messy. I ended buying a proper one through a restaurant supply store.
