The worst engineer grinder
It is just bad, period. Once you open the box, you will find a beautiful grinder... presentation is nice! But then once you try to add the batteries the grinder has so many pieces that it's like putting batteries to a NASA space shuttle (although it should be Russian by now as NASA is almost over). After doing all that effort to add the batteries you will realize that the hole to put the salt is so small, not even a coffee bean can fit in there. I tried to put all the salt but it was so complicated I ended up putting half of it outside. As a summary... don't buy it, you will be loosing your time.

The grinder is awesome! I used to buy the grinders at the big discount chain but this is so much better. I like a lot of pepper and it is so much easier to push the button then continuing to crank the manual grinders. The grinder was delivered quick and it was packaged nicely. I opened the box and was surprised by the quality of it. It looked, and worked, like commercial grade equipment. This grinder will add a nice touch to any counter or table.I have only tried it for pepper but have no doubt it would work just as good on anything else.By the way... buying pepper corns in bulk will be a lot cheaper than buying the manual pepper grinders.

Ok - not great
The advantage of this grinder is that you can buy it individually. But it is not as nice as some of the sets that go for $30 or less. The think I dislike the most is that the container does not seem to be held on too tight. It also doesn't have a light as some of the sets do. As a point of comparison I also purchased the Jovial Kitchen Battery Operated Salt and Pepper Grinder Set for $28.99 and found the Jovial set to be a higher quality item and better value.

Stopped working after less than a year
I bought this grinder about 10 months ago and it has stopped working properly. When it worked properly it did a great job. Now it gets stuck constantly. I have to clear out the mechanism after every 2 second grind because it doesn't seem to have enough power to crush anymore. I have changed batteries and spent more time than is rational trying to fix it. So, if you buy this, beware that you will be buying another one in a year.

Really convenient for the kitchen.
I used this to grind up some Himalayan salt and some peppers. I liked how you can set the coarseness level. I will be experimenting grinding up and mixing up some other stuff. It's really convenient to have in the kitchen. It could be good for cannabis smokers to grind herbs also lolThe stainless steel design is also nice looking and seems built with great quality. Ceramic blades are a plus. The LED light is also really convenient. You can just pull out the device and add the 4 batteries easily. It's rather simple to use. The only con is the opening for adding your contents, but it's not a problem at all really.A feature that would be great would be a push button to dispense the grinded contents automatically, and maybe a battery level indicator. Overall, I recommend this grinder for the chefs and any one who cooks meals at home.

Fell apart after few weeks
I bought this to use for my restaurant. Maybe it wasn’t built for commercial use. It’s a very nice grinder but it fell apart only after few weeks. We only use it for one dish that has chunky Himalayan pink salt added on top so it’s not like we used it 100x a day, more like 10-15? The top didn’t fit after refilling it so we had to Saran Wrap it to keep it in tact. Then I changed the battery then one of the plastic pieces broke off and then the plastic piece that covered the battery chamber wouldn’t fit back in so we just threw it away in the trash. It was nice while it lasted but definitely won’t be buying again.

Could use some tweaks
Grinding function works well. A couple of design suggestions: (1) a better way to fill than taking all apart, and (2) for true one-handed functionality (which is the point), make the cap more like a base from which the mill can be lifted (with one hand). On a device whose purpose is one-handed operation, there is no point in a cap that requires two hands to remove. Overall, performs its function adequately and could benefit from some design improvements.

Great! Grinds up the Sea salt nice and fine for adding flavor to tomatoes. So far the pepper grinds up nicely too. I have to remember to take the bottom cap off. I decided to not put them back on because nothing comes out until I remember to open the bottom cap and then I get too much salt or pepper at once.
