Typical cheap-and-cheerful little Chinese amp.. a bit blingy and shiny but actually does the job quite well.As other reviewers have said, you need to crank this up to the max to get anything decent out of it - when I first switched mine on, with the volume at a cautious half-way, there way no sound at all so I assumed for a moment it was faulty. I bought this for when I'm away at music festivals in my Camper - so I will be driving it from my mobile phone either via the MP3 input or via bluetooth adapter - and I had to have the volume on my phone turned fully up, plus the amp turned fully up, before I could get music loud enough to enjoy outdoors (through my Gale 7" 2-way monitor speakers).But - that said, it has a pleasant tone, and there's no sign of distortion even at full volume.Not sure why other reviewers have had issues with the little remote - the volume controls on mine seem to work fine - it's a bit fiddly and plasticky as you'd expect; I doubt I shall ever use it, but it does seem to work. Most of the buttons on it are clearly meant to help you navigate a music source plugged into (eg) the SD card slot on the amp, or the USB slot... I haven't tried those yet so can't report on that.Aesthetically speaking - it's not a bad looking little amp but very shiny as I said earlier - spoiled further (for me) by an over-bright red power LED on the front and two further red LEDs which modulate in time to the music (left and right channels) - a bit blingy and pointless but not the end of the world.All in all - quite satisfied. You get a decent 12V DC mains power adapter and a good quality 3.5mm to RCA (headphone jack to Phono) included in the box. It has a good range of input options (USB, SD, Phone, 3.5mm). It goes loud enough (just) for what I need - so can't really grumble.Hope this helps.

And what a surprise the little cheng shung turned out to be. £20.59 says horrible and cheap, but it does more than you think, and it sounds better than the denon in the living room. Most push button equalizer settings are fixed, but you can alter each of the settings with the manual knobs on the front to alter the "fixed" settings. I also thought the volume was fixed, but you can alter it in the same fashion. The device even remembers the last track played in the memory stick after removing it, let alone pulling the plug out for the night. Low bass notes are controlled, deep and sustained with no roll off towards 20Hz, and middle and treble notes are controlled without being either dull or shriek-y (tinny tranny!). All this from small bookshelf speakers. STUNNING. Well worth the money. Not a turkey, but a wonderful peacock.

Absolute rubbish I plugged it in, it worked for about 5 seconds and then cut off and nothing I tried got it to power back up I better get a full refund not happy what so everIf you would like to know What I was using this for well I have a speaker system and I needed a device to change the bass and treble and master volume that had rca ports and 2 channels so I searched around and this had a good review . I may have just got a dodgy one but it felt awfully cheap and dodgy just looking at the power supply . I personally would stay away from this product

If you play usb or sd, sound is distorted, not clear, "line in" is ok, so I don t care. For that price it s unbeatable. In comparision with similar, but more expensive topping /missing bass/ it s better.

Item did not work no sound would not change mode on button on amp or on remote have had to return for refund as you could not replace it

remote failed after two weeks. USB input failed in two days

the size and sound was great think and considering the prize….. BUT front led light start to goes on and off and the next day did the same after couple of minutes die completely , no sound no light no nothing….. well i didn't expect that will last forever but at least couple of months. not buy!!!
