Last year, I wanted to see if my new cat would chase a ball, but I didn’t want to buy plastic ball toys from the pet store. I was looking for a more sustainable alternative, so I purchased these instead.It turns out she really doesn’t play with balls, but she does like to watch these roll around when we throw them for her.These feel (and look) like miniature versions of the felted wool dryer balls that we use instead of dryer sheets. They’re perfectly round, so they roll really well, and they actually do have some bounce to them if you throw them against a hard surface.We’ve had these for over a year now. None of them have broken, warped or frayed. We definitely have lost a couple of them, but that’s to be expected with any ball of this size that can roll under the furniture, and it’s no problem since these come in a set of six.

Okay so these seem to be very high quality and seem like really great cat toys, however one of my cats refuses to play with them and I believe it may be the smell. They do smell like sheep still, which for a natural wool product like this, that’s expected so I can’t fault the company. One of my cats just takes a whiff and wants nothing to do with it.

Had to roll them in catnip for them to play with them, and they have all since been pushed under the couch and other furniture, never to be seen again.

My tiny pomeranian who is 10 weeks old and 2lbs loves these balls! Perfect size for her to chase abd carry around! Love that they are wool. Even my 40lb vizsla wants to play with them but I worry about her choking since they are small.
