Q: The brakes sound like they are rubbing on the tire while im riding and my brake handles are not compressed at all. Is there a way to fix this?

I don't know if you are familiar with bike brakes but follow the wiring of the side that is sticking starting at the handle. There are silver discs that rotate to loosen or tighten the brakes. Turn to loosen, mostly likely left but the entirely depends on orientation. Loosen by only one to two turns then your brake and drag on the wheel. The disc by the wheel need to be tightened to keep the brake pad suspended properly. If either of the mechanisms are loose and sliding, reposition and tighten. Go slowly with adjustments, they should be too far off unless you have gremlins assisting you.
