Activision Skylanders Giants 3 Pack Gill Grunt Flashwing Double Trouble

We have a number of skylander players and fans in the family. We are building quite a collection or I should say collections. The triple packs are helpful to the game and easier on the wallet. You really do get a better value if you get them three at a time, even though at some times we have kids earning them so they are being given them one at a time. An idea you might use with younger children.

We bought Skylanders Giants as a Christmas gift for my 9 y/o son. He really enjoyed playing this game, but was bummed b/c he couldn't do everything. He didn't have a Skylander from each element. So for his birthday I looked around and found this set. It was perfect, each figurine was an element he didn't have. What I like best about these little guys, they are interchangeable from platform to platform. His friends can bring their figures over and they work on our game. Even though we have a Nintendo Wii and they have PlayStation or X-box. I think that part is brilliant. I am sure we will be purchasing more.

Great gift option to go along with the starter pack. Son enjoys each of these characters, and continues to use them. The build is great, endless use, such an amazing product, kudos to the developers to make something fun for kids and adults.

I bought it for 24.96 few days ago, and when I checked, suddenly dropped to 17.00 :( Disappointing price drop :(

Only came with one of the characters

I purchased this as a gift for my nephew. He has several of these characters and was pleased to add this to his collection. It was well made and protected in its package.

This pack comes with three characters: Gill Grunt,Double Trouble, and Flashwing. Gill Grunt was previously available in the starter pack of the first Skylanders game, but this Series 2 version can unlock more content. Double Trouble, like Gill Grunt, was remade into a Series 2 character. Both of these figures have an updated figurine and a Wow Pow upgrade that gives them a powerup not available to the Series 1 originals. Flashwing is a new character, and so she does not have either advantage. All 3 unlock character-specific Heroic Challenges, which are extra opportunities to make you Skylanders stronger. Buying these 3 collectively can be a lot cheaper than buying individual characters, and the Triple Pack makes a good gift to someone who enjoys the game.
