Definitely the best cat litter!
I was a little sceptical about buying this cat litter at first due to its price but I'm so glad I did! It's worth every penny. It really is the best cat litter! Brilliant clumping, great odour control, no tracking around the house and it lasts quite a long time (I have two indoor cats, two litter trays, i have been using it for just little over two weeks and i still have half the 12kg bag left, and you've got to bear in mind that a lot of the bag was used when first filled the trays! So the fact I still have half the bag left is pretty good :) ) What more can you ask for ?!***UPDATE***A year on and I am still very happy with this cat litter. Highly recommend! :)

This really is the worlds best Cat Litter!!!
It may be twice the price of all others but its worth it. It last twice as long as most of the others there is very little mess it flushes down the loo and can go straight in the compost bin whats not to like Oh yes it smells nice too!! I have the lavender one. I do have one complaint the bag it came in was not very good it had two puncture marks when it arrived so its not strong enough it has no plastic zip to reseal and it does not appear to be recyclable which is bizara given its eco credentials given the price I think the manufacturers could improve this quickly. However you should still Buy it Buy it Buy it.

Great Product Of The Many That Were Tested, Just Be Prepared For Some Staining Of Paws
I have tried a number of cat litters after rescuing a pair of indoor cats in a very poor state. Due to their history, the cats had thus developed some unsavoury habits which caused them to dig and crumble their mess in the litter tray.I have tried a huge variety of litters within this last year from wood based, clumping, clay and even limestone and 'crystal'.On hardwood and stone floors I found that the wood-based litter would track on the cats paws, consequently dry and thus breakdown into a almost powdery substance that scatters across the entire room should there be any draft. The limestone would again scatter across the floor but inadvertently, get caught under the mop and litter tray (when moved) and thus end up scratching the stone tiles, causing irreversible damage to my floors. The Clay and clumping type forms a "cloyee", sludgy mess. This requires the tray to need constant deep cleaning as the mess settles on the base of the tray.I really liked this one, especially with my particularly messy cats as not only does it clump on sight (mess doesn't sink to the bottom), it doesn't form a sludgy mess, it is so much easier to scoop, which means the entier contents need emptying out less often. But also smells very much like my garden lavender - not chemical at all.The cats are also very happy too as it doest stick to their paws like the other types therefore less mess and less of a need for them to incessantly drag their paws across the tray to wipe away residue. One thing to bear in mind though, If your cats are of the pale coloured persuasion, then the litter does have a tendency to stain the hocks and pads: a rather unpleasant pale yellow, due to its corn based nature, hence the removal of one star. As I like to product so much, I'm willing to put up with this shortfall.I just wish it was cheaper!

Stops smells, great clumping
This cat litter is great at clumping and we honestly have not looked back since first trying it. We have tried many different cat litters over the years with our four little terrors, and this genuinely is the one we think most highly of. The lavender smell is quite strong at first but does dissipate quickly. In terms of usage it's not that dusty and the cats seem quite happy using it - all four use the same tray and at least two of them don't bury, so the absorbent nature of this litter does reduce smells. It took a while for the cats to get used to the smell as they were a touch adverse at first because it is quite strong when you first open the bag.We use a litter robot automated litter tray that self cleans, this litter works the best with it (better than clay and wood)Pros - nice smell, reduces odours, clumps well, little dustCons - hard to find any!

Unfortunately not for my cat...
Bought this on subscribe & save on the strength of the positive reviews... I usually buy Waitrose own brand clumping scented litter, no problems with that but it's £4 a small bag, plus don't always go to this shop and it's a hassle to lift into trolley and car boot etc. I thought this would replace it with the advantage of being delivered to my door and it being flushable. We thought it smelled quite nice, not obviously lavender but quite pleasant. However, my 21 year old cat hates it! Obviously, at her advanced age she is well-house trained and very fastidious, she hates having to pee/poop on the floor (if we have forgotten to put her litter tray in the room by accident) and is upset if she does have to do this. Tried everything, mixed it in varying proportions with the usual stuff, etc., but she will just not use it! She will pee in it if no more than 10% WBCL in the tray, any more than that and will just pee on the floor or door mat instead. And if there is any WBCL in the tray at all (even just a sprinkle of it) she refuses to poop in it and poops on the door mat instead and then spends the rest of the day hiding and looking ashamed. So lots of mopping up and clearing up to do, one very upset kitty and I've had to go back to the supermarket to buy a replacement. Not for us but this may suit you/your cat but I advise trying the smallest size bag first, to make sure your cat is OK with it before shelling out for the largest sack to save money (as I did, but am now stuck with 3/4 sack of unusable litter).
