Excellent webcam! Built in ring light is very useful.
This webcam has been excellent so far! The image quality is good enough for use in video conferencing, although not quite as good as some of the high-end options from Logitech. For the price, this webcam is perfect. It also has some unique features that most other webcams don't have, such as a ring light and a tripod mount. The tripod mount uses the standard thread and works well to secure the webcam to a tripod. The only complaint I have about it is the mechanism for mounting the camera on top of your monitor doesn't work well on monitors with thin bezels. The lip on the front that hangs onto the monitor is too thick and could block a small portion of your monitor. When sitting on a monitor the lip hangs down about 3/8 of an inch below the base of the camera. If your monitor’s top bezel is less than 3/8 of an inch some of your screen may be covered. I am using the camera on a tripod for that exact reason. The ring light is an excellent feature and works surprisingly well to illuminate things that are within one to two feet of the camera. The touch sensitive buttons are very nice to see. It is also nice to see a pause video button included. This button will make your screen appear black when pressed. This is extremely helpful for video calls when you need to go off camera temporarily. This feature does not appear to mute the microphone, so make sure to mute yourself as well from within your video conferencing application to avoid any awkward situations! Overall, I would highly recommend this camera, it works very well, has great image quality, a ring light, and can be tripod mounted. It is nearly perfect for video calling and looks great!

Good quality webcam with excellent built in MIC
This review is for the Nuroum V15AF 2K webcam. It has video recording options at both 1440p and 1080p at 60 FPS. The webcam uses autofocus with a 75 degree FOV (seems wider). The USB-A cable is not removable from the camera. It's hardwired in. The base has a threaded input for tripod attachment. The camera was detected right away by Windows 11 and was ready to use.First off, I have to make mention that the only reference to 2K is in the page header. Other than that, it only claims 1080p in the description and in the manual. I can confirm that the camera has a 2K (2560x1440) option at 60 FPS. I only used the Windows 11 Camera app to record, but that option was available, so I used it. It also takes photos at 2560x1440. So the Amazon description page isn't doing this camera justice by not emphasizing those key features.Moving on, the webcam has 2 touch features on top. A video enable/disable and mic enable/disable. I've tested both and they work just fine. A physical slide shutter would have been nice. The dual mic system works great. I had to double check that I wasn't using the internal mic on my laptop because it sounded too good to be a webcam microphone. But it just sounds that good. I'm not saying it's external mic quality, but it's really good for a webcam. I've tested many and this one is by far that best I've tested.I need to do a bit more testing before I can get a good feel for the autofocus or if there's additional settings that can be done (as in enabling/disabling). I did a poor job at demonstrating in the video, but it takes a few seconds to refocus when it focuses on something close up and then back to your face. I was able to show this in another video, but not the one I uploaded. It's not excessive, but not super speedy on the refocus. And it does do small refocus moments even when you haven't moved any closer to the camera. This happened in the uploaded video. Just something to be aware of.I wasn't able to export the video in full 2560x1440, so the video quality may not be as you'd expect (full 2K) from me talking about it. But the raw footage was very impressive. You'll see that if you decide to purchase it.I don't have any real negatives with this camera. Having a physical lens cover and maybe a detachable USB cable would have been great, but those are just nitpicks. The webcam is very good quality and I'd definitely recommend. Since 4.5 out of 5 isn't an option, it's 5 stars from me.

A good HD webcam!
If you're a dinosaur like me, still using the PC you built in college to game on back when George W was still in office, you need a webcam in order to participate in everyday online tasks. This has been a godsend! I have been able to do everything I need, and it is a good picture! The "ring light" is okay - it doesn't interfere with the picture quality at all, and it does ABSOLUTELY everything I need! Until I upgraded my microphone setup the sound quality was.... it was fine, and the picture quality does everything I could ask for.The depth perception isn't great, but with a single lens you're not going to get that anyhow, so no worries there. I like it, and it works great for the price!

Decent quality Webcam. No physical privacy cover.
This is a decent webcam for individual use for Zoom, Teams or other similar video calls/meetings. Setup on Windows 11 was literally plug and play and the video quality is excellent. While, I normally use an external mic, I did use the built-in mic for the entire length of a Zoom meeting with no complaints from the other participants. The camera does have touch controls for camera off and mute but I found the LED lights confusing as there is just one light to indicate both camera on/off and mic mute. It would be easier to read and understand if there were separate lights on separate sides.Camera Privacy - there is NO physical privacy cover. The product page clearly said privacy "cover" when I ordered this but the "cover" is merely a touch button that turns the camera off on the computer. It seems to just disconnect the camera and didn't seem to work consistently when turned back on so I ended up just using the Zoom software controls, which I found easier to use. I was disappointed by the misleading description and the lack of a physical privacy cover.FOV - I found the 75° field of view to be a little narrow. This may be because I have the camera mounted on a rather large 35" ultrawide monitor but I found it hard to fit more than my face and I had to constantly focus on sitting straighter to keep the camera from just showing the top of my head. I think it would have been difficult to fit more than one person comfortably without sitting 4-5 feet away. I probably just need a camera with a wider field of view.Cable - the USB plug is permanently attached to the camera. A detachable cable would have been nice so I could use a shorter cable for cable management purposes. If you don't really care for the above, this is a good quality camera and, aside from the above point on the privacy cover, works as described.

Great device for the price!
Working a hybrid schedule can be such a pain, right? I have a higher quality Logitech webcam that I'm constantly transporting to and from the office. I seized the opportunity to snag another webcam to keep in the office. No more back and forth, yay! This webcam is a super affordable price ($60 at the time of this review). The device itself is a little bulky yet appears to be sturdy. This is a standard "plug and play" device. There is no software needed. All of my web conferencing apps immediately recognize the device; I've had no issues there. The image is crisp, sharp, and clear. The microphone is decent quality. There are two buttons on the top of the camera to 1) mute the microphone and 2) turn off the camera. If muted, a red light will appear to indicate such. However, the red light doesn't illuminate if you've disabled the camera. This isn't great for my paranoid brain. I would much prefer having a standard privacy cover because there's no clear indicator that you've disabled/enabled the video.Other than the small quirk above, this is an excellent find for the price. I'd definitely recommend if you need a better quality camera than what is afforded through most laptops (but you also don't want to break the bank).
