This is a good product for a reasonable price. For context, my use was not the intended automotive market. Instead, I used it to observe chickens in their small (roughly 1 cubic foot) nest box for several weeks. The camera was mounted on the outside of the nest box, with the lens inserted into a hole drilled to the same diameter. The chickens never even noticed it was there, or if they did, made no attempt to peck at the lens. The included mounting bracket made mounting extra easy.The camera as is was well positioned to fit this alternative use: sensitive to low light (check), very wide field of view (check), inherent protection from weather (check), reasonably good focus in close and mid ranges (check), and easy to install and operate (check). As a bonus, this camera's grid lines were easily disabled by clipping a wire loop. Other than mounting the camera and clipping the loop, I only needed to extend the cable (coax video feed plus 12V power) an additional 12 feet into an adjacent building where I had a standard TV monitor and video recorder operating in conditioned space. I supplied power from a small 12V sealed lead acid battery kept charged with a battery tender (both of which I already had - probably any 12V DC wall wart power supply would also have worked).The seller reached out via email to ensure I knew that they were ready to offer assistance if needed after purchase, but I had no problems adapting this camera to my use - it worked well without any glitches; therefore I can't say whether seller assistance would have been satisfactory had I had a problem, but usually it is a very good sign when sellers are that proactive!The only con was that in very low light the image got grainy, but that is generally expected even with low light sensitive cameras. I did not try adding an infrared light source, but that might have allowed functional operation even in full darkness, had it been needed.Not sure if this camera is rated for continuous operation, but I never noticed any overheating, or even being very warm. For context on this point, the camera was mounted outdoors with no airflow obstructions, in the shade during the daytime, and day time highs never exceeeded 75 degrees during the observation period.I was very happy with this camera's chicken monitoring performance, especially at its price point, so it gets 5 stars.

I thought I would be able to install the camera as pictured, with the mount on the bottom. However, the picture is upside down if you install it this way, so I ended up returning the camera.

Great camera, good images I would buy again!! It can be use for other purposes..

it is a high quality camera and has the possibility to use it for front view or back in your truck

The camera is not aligned properly. I had to face way to the left in order to have it point straight and it is still not right. Would not recommend

I found it easy to attach to the bottom of my drivers side mirror and adjust it to display the entire view from beside my van and to the rear. I installed it on a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I made the cut to one wire to remove the back up line indicators. One thing to think about is that it is a wide angle lens, there is distortion of distance as if looking at a curved mirror.

used it on my trailer, set it up using my existing monitor. it hasn't been exposed to the elements long so can't say how long it will last.

Work ok but not as good as hoped. Not great at night.
