These batteries are expensive. This one seemed more reasonable. At 4 amps it hits the sweet spot of lasting a fairly long time and doesn't cost more than the tool itself. It works great and is OEM.I got freaked out reading about the potential for fires from knock-offs. Is this true? Am I gullible, and are the fire tales just to get me to buy OEM? I am concerned less about faulty batteries, but one that could burn down the house?..yeah, that freaks me out.What I really wish is that we could send back our OEM batteries, and for a reasonable fee, the manufacturer could replace the nonworking parts so we can get a refreshed battery at a lower price.BTW, I bought the battery because I left one of my mine outside and it rained. 2 things I learned. 1. Don't let these get wet. 2. maybe drink a few less beers while mowing so I remember things like putting a $$$ battery away.

This product is amazing, the previous charger took all day to charge the battery, this one fully charges in 30 minutes.

Worked as advertised. An excellent replacement for the original charger that came with the lawn mower.

OEM is so darn expensive, but at least you know they will be issue free. I tried a set of the low priced alternatives and they would not even fit into the charger.

I have 4 of these batteries, all hold up well. Work with both Lawnmower and Chainsaw and last close to an hour.

Charges the battery for my lawnmower super fast! I only have one battery for my lawnmower. It usually takes me two charges to get my backyard mowed. With my prior charger, it would take so long to charge making it difficult to mow the yard in one day.

Works great, plus I purchased it used from warehouse deals. So I saved a bunch of $. And only one small scratch on it.

As with most Greenworks products, this one fails also... Battery lasted for about 20 cycles, then faulted out immediately after charging. You get a surge of power then it immediately dies. The battery is charges as it will keep doing this as long as you repeatedly pull the trigger, but wont stay running. As this battery cost $142.00, that puts the per-use cost right at $7.00.
