First and foremost, these light strips are fantastic. They look great and are not hard to install. I did all the installation myself and it was quite easy. I did wipe down the finished wood surface with alcohol wipes prior to applying the light strips, but I am having trouble getting the light strips to stick! That is really my only complaint. Even though they have 3M on the back and it seems quite sticky, it does not seem to want to stick to my finished/stained wood surface. I am thinking about contacting the manufacturer to see if we can get some better, stronger tape. Or maybe all 3 kits that I purchased were somehow faulty when it comes to the adhesive strip (hard to believe). Anyway. They look great. The colors are fantastic and just the right amount of brightness. This item provides luxurious accents at a great value price. I can only highly recommend them to anyone who wants to add some accent lighting in their home.At first, I only wanted to give them 4 stars because of the tape, but I have faith that the manufacturer or seller will be able to resolve this issue. 5 stars from me.

Skeptical at first but huge fan now that its installed. Works great with the other Sylvania light controlled system. Great connectivity with Apple Home app. Lots of color variations. Easy stick up application and easy to add on to or custom cut the length. I missed that at first, but when properly trimmed it makes the installation super professional looking and clean look. Strongly recommend.

These lights do a great job hiding under cabinets, change to any color in the rainbow and can be controlled wirelessly without adding yet another hub to your collection of gizmos. Unfortunately, the lights keep falling down.Also, it’s too bad Sylvania did not put as much thought into the power supply as it did into the design of the flexible light strip.The bulky power supply not only is impossible to hide, it actually interferes with using the rest of the outlet it’s plugged into. It’s baffling that a product specifically marketed to be hidden under cabinets includes such a large part that cannot be hidden at all.-- --UPDATE AFTER 3 WEEKS: I raised my rating to 4 stars from 3. The lights work very well; I love the flexibility of colors and wireless and voice control via Siri. However, they still fall off with the provided sticky backing. You'll have to find your own clips with better self adhesive to hold them up.Resuming original review:-- --PROS: - Flexible light strip sections can be plugged in or unplugged to make them longer or shorter, or, you can cut them in designated spots if you need to shorten them to more specific lengths. - Wireless control is super easy to set up and control with Siri on your iPhone. - No hub is required as many other products require for wireless control. - You have a virtually infinite number of colors to choose from as these LEDs cover the whole rainbow. - The strips come in 2-foot lengths and can be plugged together for longer needs. Nice to have such a short option. - They don’t get hot. (They’re LEDs.) - The control module (for wireless connectivity) is small and easy to hide by attaching it under the cabinet.CONS: (And this is a BIG con) - The power supply box is big and impossible to hide. They did not make it an in-line box on the same plane as the plug. You cannot attach the power supply box to the underside of the cabinet. - If you have an outlet flush mounted to the cabinet as I do, this box will hang down 4 inches from it - not even close to invisible. - The prongs, the actual plug on the box, is set so far down from the edge of the box (3/4 inch) it will actually block you from using USB ports built into the same outlet. (I had to kill power, remove my nice USB outlet and re-install a basic outlet since this box would prevent me from taking advantage of the USB charge ports.) This is just bad basic design for the power supply. This box and its power cord are going to be visible in the outlet on your backsplash. - Two days in a row after installation, the flexible light strips have fallen off the cabinet. The double stick tape material is not strong. I'm going to have to find some glue to make them stay in place.I asked the Amazon community a couple of times before buying this for measurements of the power box and control module. No one answered, including Sylvania. Here are the key specs for everyone now:Power Supply Box: 4 inches long by 2 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches thickControl unit: 2 1/4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide by three-quarter inches thick including adhesive pads.

I bought 2 strip lights for a kitchen under cabinet installation. Never did install the 2nd one, because the first one kept falling off the cabinet onto the counter top.I love the color control and brightness. I was unable to figure out if I could group the 2 strips together (planned to put them on opposite sided in the kitchen so 2 controllers are required) so that their color/brightness levels would track.Still looking for some sort of bracket that could support the strip so that the installation does not rely solely on the failing adhesive on the back of the strip.Also, the light strip did integrate easily with the iPhone Home app; but it does NOT work for the Hue app.My rating would be 4-5 stars if only the adhesive failure did not get in the way.

Easy to setup and responsive. Unfortunately the adhesive tape is not reliable so I had to use superglue which means the furniture will be damage if you need to take it off.

Besides the fact that the strip adhesive band doesn’t stick well – it fell shortly after I put it on my shelves – it is otherwise a great product: Quality components, easy to install and setup with HomeKit, great light !
