The pencils appear to be substantially built and potentially a long lasting and quality product (mechanical elements were functioning well at the time of purchase but long term reliability is unknown). On first acquaintance the pencils felt a little odd to handle, the body of the pencil being ribbed along its length. In practice this not an issue as the pencils felt secure to hold even though there was no ribbing or fingertip gripping surface common on other pencils that I have used (the 2mm pencil/crayon supplied has a round profile and gripping surface).A comprehensive set of refill leads were supplied, together with a set of coloured crayons for the 2mm pencil (a second or larger set of crayon refills would have been nice).Altogether an attractive set of pencils

First class for my use - sketching. Good weight, pleasure to use.Good collection of leads (including coloured), rubbers, sharpeners. And all in a very good zipped leather-likewallet.

Sehr schönes Gefühl beim Zeichnen.Natürlich sind hochwertige und teure Materialien für den Werdegang zeichnen zu können nicht erforderlich, aber wenn der Weg schon lang und beschwerlich ist, dann trag wenigstens bequeme Schuhe. 😁 Spaß ist auf jedenfall garantiert! Die zusätzlichen Bonusmaterialien halten auch gefühlt ewig. 👍

My daughter is an art fiend and has been asking for more "bapa pencils" (aka company-given mechanical pencils that my dad used with his folio when he worked with 3M). She loves the slimness of the pencil and the "professional" look but also is super happy about the varied sizes, the pencil sharpener, extra tube of erasers, and colorful lead that was all included in the zip-up pouch. She feels "so pro" and I love that it helps spur on her artistic talent. She's asking for a set in black... maybe for her birthday though when she's lost or out of lead. :D
