Bought specifically for recording guitar parts that needed to be mixed with electronic instruments. The classical guitar sound needs to be EQ'ed with substantial high frequency gain in order to cut through a mix, and this also increases perceived string noise. These strings do a good job of reducing that. They seem to wear a bit more quickly than other strings I am accustomed to (over the years I've used Augustine, Cecilia, D'Addario). And when they wear they become very dull sounding. This doesn't detract from their main selling point though, but you may need to buy more sets! Five stars from me, if they are considered specifically as recording strings.

Fantastic seller - strings arrived at the speed of lightning.As regards the strings - I've used 413Ps for a few years, I used to love hard tension strings with big zingy sounds but nowadays I prefer a more subtle and noiseless sound and these strings cannot be beaten in that respect. Lovely tone with a wide range of dynamic nuance - and noiseless!!

Such a pleasure that the base strings do not squeak.
