You can't write a more honest review than the one I am writing. I say this because sadly, I am returning this item (and the mini as well). The nut width is just too slim for my hand. But I do have large hands. I'm sure it'll be fine for most.The quality and even the action is off the charts. Impeccable in every way. Shipping was great and the guitars were packed with great care. I just can't believe how awesome they are at this price range. Important to say here that I know guitars. Without listing them, let's just say I have an enviable collection. One of the many guitars I have is a Traveler EG or whatever it's called. That thing won't stay in tune and I've left it in a different country for when I visit. It's unimportant to me for this reason.I also own a couple Carbon fibers A high very pricey McPherson and an also pretty pricey CA cargo. Those things never go out of tune. I can say the same for these Enyas. I travel a lot and I've went to carbon fibers because of climate change. They are not impacted by humidity. You could row a boat with one.Let's get to the not so great: OK, the Mini is tinny sounding and that should surprise no one. It's $99!! If the nut were wider Id still keep it just because it's so awesome otherwise. Maybe I'd pack it with foam rubber or something. Would it be a great kid or beginner guitar? Ha. Absolutely! It really small and that is a huge plus. But grown ups can still play it.I hoped the nut would be wider on the SP 1. If it is, it's still too narrow for my 10.5" hands. How about the sound? OK, it has this super cool little amp / speaker thing inside. I started playing it and it sounded quite a bit better than the Mini. Of course. But it still sounded a bit tinny due to the small openings. So I decide to try push the button on the side and WOW! You would never guess that you're hearing the guitar through a speaker. Trust me, nobody would notice unless you use the effects. I didn't mean to write a book here and I am not associated with this excellent company. I wish I was because the SP1 feels and sounds like an $800+ guitar. My advice to you is...buy it now.

Rather tinny sound that might sound better with nylon strings. (It has a microphone array, not pick-ups.) I like the special effects, and found the app easy to use. A fun, small guitar that is not a replacement for a proper performance acoustic or electric, but makes a good addition to a collection. I will keep this in my bedroom and my car. Doubtful I will use it for the band. There is a feedback problem switching between effects if the guitar is not fully silent. I like it.

I bought this for my wife and I have to say it's great. It has a good sound and the effects that are built in are really good. The sound projects really well. Very easy to play great low action no fret buzz or sprouting. I even used it to teach some of my students and they loved it ! The tuners are great and very smooth ! Get one for yourself you won't be disappointed!!!
