Superb strings on my violin bass, pricey but good.

I love these strings fitted to my Hofner violin bass. They are so smooth and easy on the fingers and give a great even sound across the whole register. They are perhaps a little lacking in the treble register compared to roundwounds but that doesn't really matter as this is a bass guitar string after all and I would much much rather have the pleasure of ease of playability of these strings anyday than roundwounds.

These strings are really the only ones to fit to a Hofner violin bass. They are excellent quality, but also most other bass string will not easily fit these basses because the tuners have the same size holes as a six-string guitar. Very efficient service from the supplier.

They sound great and they feel great plus they're not too expensive.I will definitely continue using these on my violin bass.
