Slashing Through the Snow: A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery, Book 3

I have read all three books in this series & this one didn't disappoint! Holly White & her friends are a delight to go on an adventure with. The town of Mistletoe, Maine is certainly one I would love to visit - and I love visiting there through your books! The characters are delightful (one is quirky), the descriptions are vivid, the story is a good mystery, & I have thoroughly enjoyed each book. The author indicated this third book came to be because her readers requested & petitioned for it. I would certainly request & petition that the series continue - that there be many more stories of Holly & friends in Mistletoe! I can't wait to visit there again through another book! Keep 'em coming PLEASE!!!

This story was full of all of the things that make Christmas so joyous. The plot was compelling and full of surprising twists. Curl up with your favorite beverage and prepare for an enjoyable ride!

I really like this series. They keep you guessing and they are free of bad language. I also like the small town where it takes place. Characters are good too!! However, I gave this 4 stars because these books run on the expensive side and I can't figure out why. They aren't even that long (most of my kindle books are at least 300 pages ... this isn't). Book number 4, which will be released soon, is $18.99! I'm sorry ... but that is NUTS for a kindle mystery that is only 280 pages long. Unfortunately I will not be able to afford book #4.

I am so happy to read the third installment of A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery, and hope it isn’t the last! I love all of the Christmas games and the whimsical names of Mistletoe businesses. Not least is the whacky cast of characters, particularly Cookie and Theodore, her pet goat. I did not guess the murderer’s identity. Mostly I love the setting in my favorite state (Maine) and Holly and Evan’s romance. Hoping Crooked Lane continues the series.

It was perfect. Just perfect. I love how the Christmas spirit is so well portrayed in this series of books. The feelings of having family and friends around, the snowy environment, and the affiliations of the small business owners make this cozy mystery ... well ... cozy! As series' go on, I tend to get a little bored with them. Sometimes it just feels like the same plot line with a few details changed. Not so here. I was enthralled all the way to the last page. Hurry and grab this book, it's fantastic!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are funny and believable. Holly seems to be pretty smart as she tries to figure out who did the crime, much to the dismay of her boyfriend, the Sheriff of the little town of Mistletoe. Just fun books!

The author drew me in with her introductions of the primary characters. Having read her other two books it was like saying hello again. I love her family and the setting and look forward to another book.

I love this series. Murder mystery at the Christmas Tree farm Reindeer Games plus a surprise awaiting our sleuth.Another friend connected to the farm is suspected of murder! This time of a much hated critic with an interest in turning investigative journalist. I never saw the murderer coming. What a great twist!I love the family! There’s so much holiday spirit in this book and series I love it.

This is a great book in a very Christmassy series. I loved the warmth of the holidays mixed with the mystery. Great cosy, love this author!
