I bought this for my Daughter who loves cacti and she loves it. Great value for money. Will most definitely buy more

I bought this product almost 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier. After about 10 days I noticed growth but I was worried it must be a weed somehow because the instructions said it could take up to 2 months to germinate. Turns out I was lucky and these germinated pretty quick. I currently have 12 cacti growing but I did have much more than this, but some had to get thrown out. I love that the pots in this kit are compostable, but because of the material on of my cacti was growing out the pot rather than the soil. Another issue that was no fault of the product was that one of my pots was completely contaminated with mould. The kits whilst great for cacti, also happen to be a great environment for mould. I would still recommend this kit for sure.

I am overall happy with this product. As a plant grower, the included soil pellets and vermiculture were of a good condition and useful for growing. However, a major complaint I have is that all of the seeds are mixed within the packet. This way you are unable to plant specific cacti in separate pots as the seeds are indistinguishable from each other.

They worked for me! ❤️ 7 days and i have my first shoot, super happy.Easy to do, instructions were great. You get lots of seeds so my expectation is many will never germinate. If they do then whooo I'll be swimming in them 🤣The absolute only downside is all the seeds come in the same packet, so I have no idea which ones are which, many look the same so you can't split them by different pots to know which are in each pot etc. No idea if i got a good balance of seeds or only one of a certain type that may not grow etc. But if you don't care about that and just want to grow some cacti then it's no bother 😁

I could have more,but my vacation killed a bunch of cacti while I was gone,I ended with 9 at some point and then I went on holiday and now I have this two.But I am more than happy with them 😊

Rubbish!!! followed instructions to the letter got sod all growing!!! only giving the product one star because I had to 🤬

Well after it was disclosed that my son-in-law had been watering a plastic plant for several months without realising, I couldn't resist the chance to "extract the michael". Bought the grow your own cactii as well as a watering can as part of the wind up........ it went down well, and as far as I am aware, the cactii seeds have been planted.

Disappointed got this as a Christmas gift the recipient followed all instructions on Boxing Day still nothing has grown. Looked easy to use and seemed like good value for money but as I said nothing at all has grown for us.

Todas las semillas venían mezcladas por la tanto era imposible saber a que especie pertenecía cada una.Sembrado hace más de un mes siguiendo todas las indicaciones pero no ha brotado nada ni parece que vaya a hacerlo.

Planté il y a deux mois selon les explications. La notice est en français mais la traduction est assez mauvaise. Heureusement qu'il y a des images mais comprendre certains détails.Les graines ont germé rapidement, au bout d'une semaine pour les premières. Elles n'ont pas beaucoup grandit depuis. Je ne suis pas sûre que les cactus arrive à maturité mais au moins ça pousse!

Leider nicht so toll.An und für sich ist das ja eine gute Idee, aber bei mir wurde das leider nichts. Am 07.11.2020 habe ich die Samen gleichmäßig auf alle Töpfchen verteilt und streng nach Anleitung alles vorbereitet. Schon kurze Zeit später circa 2 Tage nachdem ich die Töpfchen auf die Fensterbank gestellt habe, fingen diese an zu schimmeln. Ich habe noch darauf gehofft, dass es trotzdem klappt, aber knapp 6 Wochen später glaube ich nicht mehr drann. Ich werde das jetzt noch 2 Wochen beobachten und wenn bis dahin nichts gekeimt ist werde ich die Töpfchen entsorgen. Schade.Update vom 31.03.2021, mit den Töpfchen ist es wie zu erwarten war nichts geworden. Nachdem ich die noch verbleibenden Samen in Sukkulentenerde gesetzt habe (siehe Bild 2) hat es deutlich besser funktioniert. 3 von circa 8-9 Samen haben gekeimt, zwar keine tolle Rate, aber immer noch besser als nichts. Von den verschiedenen Samen ist anscheinend nur eine Sorte aufgegangen... Naja.Meine persönliche Empfehlung an alle die dieses Kit benutzen möchten, nutzen Sie nicht die beiliegenden Anzuchttöpfchen. Die raue kartonähnliche Oberfläche saugt das Substrat in Null Komma nichts leer und man muss -je nach Temperatur und Standort- circa zweimal täglich gießen. Da lieber einen Platiktopf oder wie ich ein Marmeladenglas nehmen. Dann klappts bestimmt besser.

Je me demande si une personne a réussi à faire pousser des cactus avec ce kit. Soupçons de cactus qui ont disparu 2 jours après.
