Tallon Just Stationery 600x800mm Cork Board, 4289

Cork board is a brilliant size, large enough to fit a lot of things on, but not so large it takes up too much room. It's a nice cork board, looks good and pins go in really easily. However, if you're wanting this to hang on your wall, I suggest either getting another board, or getting some different string and some staples like I did. There are no instructions as to how to attach the clips and string, so when I finally did figure it out, the metal bent out of shape, the string is too stretchy and it is all visible so looks really rather unattractive. I got some stronger, longer string, and stapled it to the back which works quite well. It's not how it's supposed to work, and it's rather more effort than I wanted. Looks good now though.

Satisfied with the purchase - its a good size. I use it mainly to put up my 4-year old's paper craft work which he takes a great deal of pride in :-) The only reason I've held a star back is because of the hanging mechanism provided which I felt was a bit flimsy.

Great find! As the price is so low the quality is obviously not going to be the best, but it worked just fine and it looks good.

You get what you pay for and this was cheap, so... The cork is so thin that all the pins I bought puncture right through and even through the cardboard backing. I actually used cardboard from the box this came in, cut it to size and glue-gunned this onto the back, to avoid damaging the wall behind. Otherwise, it is what it is and (with a little reinforcement) it does the job.

It's a pinboard, so eventually it'll get obscured by stuff. Looks are unimportant. The downside is the 1mm depth of cork stuck to a piece of cardboard box. The pins go through the board to the wall behind. An extra couple mm thickness of cork would be beneficial.

Arrived quickly in good order, wrapped in cardboard, undamaged and board still in its plastic wrapping. Corners are firm, fixed with 2 nails each it seems, and perhaps also glued on corners, no gap at the corner but nicely sealed. Back layer of the board looks like cardboard, so the whole thing is light, and front layer is the usual cork finish.
