They say "you get what you pay for" and this staple gun is testament to that. It is not cheap for a purpose built cable tacker, but it is built like a tank. I rekon you could drop this down a flight of stairs and it would still work. Lovely tool. Built in Sweden, just like a Volvo

I used this stapler to affix a CAT 6 cable to the skirting board through my flat. I wasn't really sure a stapler would be up to the board of penetrating a skirting board but was pleasantly surprised by just how ridiculously easy it was. To the point I had to be extremely careful to avoid piercing the cable as the staple goes in with enough force to be fully clamped down on the cable. I did actually go through the cable with it once but got lucky the cable still worked. I went for white staples and its a very neat install. You hardly notice its there.

Exactly the same style, quality and build as the one I bought over 20 years ago. Never failed, never jammed, and I have every faith that this one will do the same. It's reassuring when you buy something to replace an old, dead tool, and it's every bit as good as the original. Very pleased.

No need to apply a lot of pressure when holding the cable tracker in place so just let it do the work for quality results.

Because of thick walls and the need for gigabit speeds, I've done a bit of my own cabling. This is the right tool for Cat5/ Cat6 cabling, stapling it to the wall without distorting the twisted pairs.It's very easy to use and can get into some tiny spaces. The curve on the mouthpiece means that you can staple cabling safely even in a tight spot where you can't actually see to position it, and i've run two cables next to each other and the positioning of the staples means that i was confident i wasn't going to pierce the first cable when i put in the second staple.

Great tool, had one before and it lasted for years, I did replace it with a cheaper make which was s total waste of money,vin my opinion Rapid is the only one to huy

Bought this to help run a bunch of Cat 6 around the house. Really pleased as it just works compared to a cheapie I'd tried originally.Be careful with the power gauge and match against the material you are attaching to especially when moving between materials, firing a staple into softwood at the strongest setting will likely damage your cable.
