This book is perfect for anyone who's ever made - or even thought about making - a quilt or blanket for Project Linus. Wonderful organization!

This book begins with the basics of quilting. Even experienced quilters might benefit from this section, as techniques are explained very well. There are at least 20 quilting patterns for varying skill levels, and touching stories of children who have received quilts or other types blankets which were hand made and distributed through Project Linus.

As soon as I got the book, I was very impressed. I have been quilting for over 25 years and there are such adorable quilts in this book with easy instructions. I am almost finished with the quilt on the cover of the book. Coming out darling! I would highly recommend this book if making a quilt for any child!

HAD to buy it after I saw it at the library. lots of easy AND beautiful quilts that are wonderful also for my couch time or as a lap throw for someone in a wheelchair. I am organizing my leftover fabric to make several quilts as donations to my local hospice.

This book of full of fun patterns and heartwarming notes of thanks. I love being a part of Project Linus.

Great patterns, clear directions

I have been making quilts for Project Linus for 15 years and this book had many new , but still simple ideas to help quilts of all skill levels. There are many that are quick and easy to do so we can make even more to donate! I would recommend this book to all quilters and people who are interested in becoming quilters.

This is my favorite passion.....quilting blankets for Project Linus. This books has easy patterns but the best feature is the personal stories of those who have received Linus blankets. Also the story of the two ladies who put the book together. This organization is the best!! Totally non-profit, all are volunteers from the CEO down to me, and ALL children, from 0-18, are receivers no matter what economic, racial, or gender, I am thrilled to support the organization and highly recommend this book.

As President of Project Linus UK, I know a lot about the Project Linus story. It started in the US, but as soon as quilters in the UK heard about it, we set up our own organisation. We are inspired and motivated when we hear what the simple gift of a home made cuddle quilt or blanket means to a sick, disabled or distressed child. There are lots of examples of these stories in this book, which is also full of ideas and patterns for quilts and blankets for others to make for children in their own town. Beautifull bood of quilts and so amny stories to go with them, it is really inspiring.I havent made any of the quilts as yet but as I have been making quilts for 20 years now I find the project interestingna and easy to construct. There is a lovely choice of quilts to choose from and the instructions are easy to follow. Such a beautiful idea that I thought would be lovely to support and do.

A delightful book. Project Linus is a wonderful voluntary organisation, started in America but it has spread around the world. Project Linus UK provides quilts for traumatised children locally and it is great to join in by making and donating quilts. This book contains moving personal stories and plenty of bright cheery quilt patterns; it is well illustrated with easy to follow instructions.

I was interested to learn about this project having discovered a local group making quilts for the charity. The book illustrates well so simple and quick designs for children. The designs are colourful and charming and encourage participation in the project.

I make quite a lot of quilts for Linus and needed inspiration to do something different and this did the job.
