Lots of patterns
I was looking for a pattern to make an Eric Carle theme baby quilt for my niece and her husband. Found several that would work and chose one that will be the final quilt.

great book
I was excited to find out about this book. 4 of us have it now from a small quilting group I belong to. The quilts are easy to make but Look more complicated. LOVE this book. Very fast delivery very too.

Wonderful book. Great buy, my biggest problem with the book is deciding which quilt to make. Good directions .

not just for babies.....
when i saw the ad for this book, what caught my eye was the number of quilt patterns listed, "87". While there is not a pattern i do not already have 10 times over, this is a great repository for a large number of patterns for smaller sized quilts. With a little tweakingand your own personal favorite fabrics, you can create a myriad of wall hangings or just the intended baby quilts, from simple to more complex using the patterns listed. The instructions are clear, lots of pictures of both finished quilt and block construction.for the finishing techniques, you can always go to Martingale web site for tips on binding, sleeve,anything you have a question on.a new book, and not deeply discounted as yet, but a nice addition to the quilting library.

Nice easy versatile patterns
If you need a BIG book of baby quilt ideas, this one will do it. Nice size squares to work with and easy to follow directions. Really good book to get ideas from and to use some of the fabric stash.Some of the basic piecing is the same patterns that are usually learned early in a quilters life, but still a great book to have in the home library to get ideas from.I've not had to book too long and have already made five baby quilts from it.

A lovely baby quilt book.
There are some lovely baby quilts in this book and it is suitable for the beginner or the experienced. There are loads of ideas and beautiful illustrations of the made up quilts, my hands itched to get started. I can recommend this book to anyone who wants to make a baby quilt.

Lovely ideas in this book
Think I picked a very difficult quilt with hundreds of tiny one inch squares but the instructions were easy to follow and the quilt is admired by all.
