Earth's Best Non-GMO Soy Plant Based Infant Powder Formula with Iron, Omega-3 DHA & 6 ARA, 21 oz.

This is far cheaper than the price point for enfamil brand of a smaller quantity in my area (NYC.) My child is pretty content with consumption of this formula. I went for soy due to issues with eczema caused by a milk protein intolerance. My child isn't fully formula feeding however for a brief stint due to some medical issues she was. I noted then the beans caused her bowls to change in texture to something more solid, looking as if she was eating real food. Since switching back to combo feeds, they are more in line with breastmilk only texture. It's a bit thicker than breastmilk only but overall normal. My child will only get at best 2-3 formula bottles in a 24hr period. Her iron is normal with this, unlike my eldest who was exclusively formula fed his were green due to the iron.I have noted that this formula is a bit powdery, aka not completely dissolved when the water temp isn't close to boiling. You also need to shake very vigorously to avoid getting powder clumps. I generally preprep my bottles with boiling water to sterilized the powder and again make sure it's completely dissolved. Once prepreped they are in the fridge for no more than 24hrs from time of prepping.Overall I would say this is a well received formula however it takes a bit of work to prepare properly.

My granddaughter tried this when mom quit breastfeeding. She didn’t have any issues as far as liking the taste or consistency but it is definitely hard to dissolve. And after a few days she was a little constipated. Switched to the blue can and she did much better, but this is still a great formula if it works for you.

We started supplementing breastmilk with formula and our baby took it first try. We alternate the Earth’s Best soy formula with the gentle formula. Both have turned out to be great and our baby has no issues with either. Definitely would recommend.

We switched to this formula when our pediatrician suggested to go dairy free. Our daughter has taken to the formula very well. Sometimes I use a knife/ spoon to stir in as sometimes it clumps more than milk based formula- this could definitely be new user error i.e a very tired mama.

Our little one loves this formula, even when we are strapped for time (because of crying baby) and have to feed it lukewarm instead of warmed up. :)So glad we found and this brand! Only wish the scoop included was half size so it would be easier to mix in 30 ml increments rather than 60 ml.
