Holds 7 cards in the main body
It only holds 7 cards compared to my old wallet but it's fine. You can keep 2 in the front flap. It's a smooth pop up but it can be a bit difficult to get in a hurry. But it's the perfect size for a card wallet and holds the cards very well. The money band on the inside also holds cash very tightly so i dont think it'll fall out. And the leather feel is very nice. Overall it's a great choice and worth the money

Great Wallet For Those Looking To Downsize
So I’ve always had a traditional leather bifold or trifold wallet in the past and they’ve been great...however I started having more issues with my lower back and one of the things that my physical therapist said could be aggravating it was sitting on my jam packed full wallet for long periods of time during the day. Just so happens at this time I was in the market for a new wallet, so I took this opportunity to look into the “minimalist” kind. This of course meant that I’d have to downsize...which I was reluctant to do at first because how was I ever to get along without the three year old business card of the AC guy that came out that one time...or the countless others...but one by one, I went through it all and came to the conclusion that I only really “need” my credit/bank cards, drivers license, various insurance cards, and opted for a type of tracking card incase I misplace my new wallet. I know that Ekster has their own tracking card, however I already had a Tile on my key ring and therefor was already using their app on my phone so I decided to give the Tile Slim a try (as it is about the size of two credit cards put together). So after doing days of research, I decided that the Ekster Parliament would fit my needs as a wallet I could store all my essential things in and also as one that would fit nicely and compactly in my front pocket. This wallet also has RFID blocking in the compartment that holds your cards...so that was also another ‘check’ this product had on my needs list. The wallet itself seems to be made really well and the leather is nice and soft (exactly the same as I’d expect to find when looking at a traditional one). The card compartment has a nice feature at the bottom where a simple push of your finger inward while holding, will make the cards inside stair step up to where you can choose the one you are needing at that moment. I’ve seen where others have said that the feature makes all their cards come up in a stack and all I can say is that this isn’t the case with the one I have. I would imagine the amount of cards in the compartment would dictate how it would work. I myself have five and some have raised lettering and numbers and some don’t. I have found that how far the cards come up can be adjusted by how fast you click the lever in. If I push it in slowly with little force, they will come up just enough to see what I need...however if I click it with a fast press, they will stick up to how they appear in my picture above. Hopefully this mechanism will last for the long haul...at its price, it should...but only time will tell. The only other thing worth noting is that even with the few cards that I have in the wallet, the ones that are not in the holding tray, it does make the wallet not want to close. I do see that the manufacturer states that this will be the case until the leather naturally stretches and takes shape, which makes sense, however even if it doesn’t, the pros of this product outweigh the cons to me and I wouldn’t send it back because of it. For me anyway, it only stays open a slight bit while on the nightstand instead of closing flat but when I put it in my pocket, it keeps it closed all the way. I have included pictures with my Apple Watch to show size of this product and also its size compared to the Tile Slim...which I keep in the back opening. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product if you’re in the market for a minimalist wallet but are still wanting that leather feel and extra storage that you would have been accustomed to with a traditional wallet. I will update this review if I start to have any issues with the mechanism or any other issue that isn’t self inflicted. Also wanted to mention that the wallet came in a nicely packaged black box that was plastic wrapped. If you receive one in which the box isn’t wrapped in plastic, I’d be weary that it is probably a return and would seek a replacement....just my advice.

Cool option if you live a cashless life
In short, I think this is a really good wallet if you don't use or need to carry cash. The Parliment with the leather "case" is a nice touch, but you could probably get just as much utility out of the basic Ekster card holder. The card slot and ejection system is very cool and easy to use. When filling with the proper amount of cards I had to try very hard to fling the wallet around in such a way that cards fell out.The reason that I ultimately returned this wallet is that I am apparently a dinosaur who still uses cash and the cash band on this wallet just didn't do it for me. To start it is not the most secure method of holding cash -- you need a sizeable wad for it to be held securely. And as someone who used their last wallet for 10+ years before it fell apart, I want something that will last me another 10+ years. The elastic of the cash strap did not look or feel like it would last me 10 years, let alone 2-3.A few other things to note. The leather quality on here was just okay. Better than a lot of cheaply made leather goods, but not premium by any means. I am unsure how it would hold up over time and don't think you would ever get a patina or anything like you'd want out of a good quality leather item. The size of this wallet is great -- very small. However, due to the rigid structure of the card holder, it can sometimes be uncomfortable in a back-pocket. This is probably best as a front-pocket wallet.

Love it but it broke
The media could not be loaded. I got this wallet after tons of research between different small form wallets. This design and setup I thought was perfect for what I wanted in it. However, this past weekend I went to retrieve a credit card and the push out mechanism was broken. I managed to grab the very end of my cards and pull them out to find the actuator arm was in 2 pieces. Through normal wear and tear I figured this would last much longer than it did. The leather is still basically brand new looking too. I think this is a dead wallet now since I can't get my cards out. Be very gentle with it I guess.

Lasted 13 months
Pretty decent wallet that lasted 13 months. Was it worth the price? Probably not. Leather and stitching is great, but the mechanism to extract the cards is already broken. Average life span for my prior wallets lasted over 3-5 years so it's disappointing. Love the look and feel of the wallet. When it works it is convenient and practical however, the thickness feels like a normal wallet so the minimalist it advertises seems mute. Overall though, I did enjoy the wallet and the convenience it brought. I gave it 3 stars because it only lasted 13 months. Without the mechanism to extract the cards, the wallet is virtually useless. I have to tap it like a new pack of cigarettes to get my cards out. Like it or not I'm only giving this wallet a review because I'm back on Amazon looking for a new one. Oh, and my use of the wallet was considered normal in my opinion. I never threw my wallet or drop it more than a foot to my desk.

Minimalista y elegante

About 1 year in...Still happy
The media could not be loaded. One year update:Still very happy. Wallet still looks new. Mechanism still works perfectly. If you can live with just a few cards, an ID and maybe one or two bills max, you'll love this thing. This wallet is super comfortable in your front pocket. Using the card eject mechanism becomes almost automatic with a little muscle memory. It would be really hard to go back to a regular wallet.Original Review:We are going to start off at 5 stars and see how it goes.Initial impressions are very good. The leather is beautiful, feels good, smells good. The lift mechanism works smoothly. I particularly like the shape as it's extremely comfortable in my front pocket. I also like the pocket in the back that is free of the "ANTI-RFID" nonsense so I can put my metro pass in it and it reads through the leather.*SHORT RFID RANT* Nobody anywhere needs an anti-RFID wallet! Nobody anywhere has ever had their identity stolen from a wallet in their pocket while walking around. Years ago some students did a proof of concept under very specific conditions. It has never happened for real but spawned a billion dollar industry selling dumb products***END RANT***This wallet is not a good choice if you use a lot of cash. I have my one "emergency ten dollar bill" under the strap and it's enough for the flap to stay partially open. Ekster says this improves as the wallet gets broken in. We'll see.Pay attention to how Ekster counts "embossed" and "non-embossed" cards differently. They give you a max number of un-embossed and then a 2nd number of "mixed" but no max number of embossed cards. I have 3 embossed cards and one un-embossed in the lift mechanism and it's pretty much maxed out. I can stuff one more un-embossed card in but it's so tight that all the cards lift as a solid block rather than fanning out. I'm ok with this since I was already carrying a minimalist wallet and the work of getting rid of the clutter has already been done. This wallet cost more than every other wallet I have ever owned combined. I'm expecting it to last for many years and will be very unhappy if it doesn't. I really had to hold my nose to do business with this company. Their warranty is garbage and the language makes it appear as though they are getting a large number of wallets sent back. I'm particularly worried that they put quality into everything you can see and touch but the hidden mechanism is plastic garbage. There are a LOT of YouTube videos showing wallets with busted mechanisms. If/when mine fails I will be doing a video of the autopsy and splitting that aluminum Case to get a look at the mechanism. For the price it should be made out of steel and ball bearings.**4 Month Update**Both the leather and the lift mechanism have held up well. It looks and works as good as it did on day one. I could never go back to a regular wallet. Very happy so far.
