Strap On Pipe Thermometer

Ordered 2 thermometers to monitor temperatures on 25mm supply and return heating manifolds. They were very easy to fit and worked exactly as I had hoped. Place another order for 2 more and fitted them to a pair of 20mm copper supply pipes.Both products were received within 3 working days of order, this was in both cases earlier than the promised delivery of 5 to 7 days as suggested at time of placing the order.I Would highly recommend this Company and will certainly use them again.

Bought two to balance my newly installed central heating system. Both thermometers read the same at ambient temperature so no need to mentally adjust when balancing. The springs did not have enough tension to keep the base snugly against the pipe, in this case 15mm, but were good with 22mm. As they are mainly used to balance radiators, I would have preferred the spring bias to favour 15mm. Nonetheless, they worked well and did the job accurately.

Bought this to monitor the return temperature of my heating system. have my boiler set on 65 and it was showing the return temperature as 35. I though it was low so put it on the pipe leaving the boiler and it went up to 37. I doubt the water is cooling that much travelling 6" of pipe.

Got two of these and they both read different for the same temp. It seems the brass nut on the back can affect how they read, so maybe turning them might be how you zero them? Otherwise they seem ok for the money.

Too big for 22mm pipes. Sent them back.

Total garbage - no movement from temperature gauge at all - don’t waste your money
