To customise your sign: After purchasing your sign please send SLATEWORKS ONLINE an message using 'contact seller' with your customisation details (e.g. I would like 35 Albert Square in Harrington font on 2 lines please). Text is not relief engraved or painted on it is surface engraved with a laser engraver. I will set the sign out the way I think looks best using Times New Roman font unless you state otherwise. Please note slate is a natural product and will vary it ranges from 3mm to 8mm thick and no two pieces will be the same which I think gives these slates their charm. The slates are cut by hand and may vary in size slightly but no more than 0.5cm. The text colour will vary from off-white to grey depending on the slate used, which is lacquered to enhance the contrast.

Looks great and is easy to read
Lettering looks great on the slate, can be easily read from the roadway, even at night. Slate is quite thick, just like roofing slates, so shouldn't crack or break with the weather. Have had it in place for a few months now and despite being exposed to the elements, still looks like new.

Lettering doesn't look stable.
The sign looked OK when it arrived but the lettering is showing signs of wear. Hope the words don't come off completely!

Very pleased with this sign
Very pleased with this sign. Took no time at all to arrive. Looks much more expensive than it is. Clear lettering. All fixings supplied, very easy to put up. Looks good from a distance, no trouble reading what it says. Can recommend.

Beautifully crafted sign with nice lettering. Arrived looking better than we anticipated. A lovely addition to the front of our house. Would recommend.

Looks good in place on the wall
Looks good in place on the wall. Whilst a little on the thin side, so be careful when tightening the screws so as to avoid cracking it, it is definitely good value for the money.
