BISHOPS BEDS LTD BED SLAT HOLDERS FOR CENTRE RAIL (52MM) UNIT PACK OF 10

I bought a lovely timber framed bed from Bensons back in 2007 and was very happy. However I recently moved house and when dismantling the bed all the plastic holders / connectors for the supporting bed slats cracked and broke as they had gone very brittle. I thought well that's it broken.... and Bensons do not supply them 'buy a new bed' I was told!!!After looking on Amazon I found these holders which I am glad to say not only fit perfectly but are much better quality material than the originals - I bought them along with BED SLAT HOLDERS (63MM) FOR SIDE RAILS and for around £20 in total I have now replaced all the holders to a 'better than original standard'Very Pleased

Having spent nearly £800 around 6 years ago at Dreamland, I was pleased with my bed and tempura mattress. Over the next few years, I kept finding bits of plastic around the bedroom floor, and it took a while for me to realise that they were the holders for the slats, gradually crumbling! Then the slats started to fall down. I phoned Dreamland only to be told that they were new owners, and the only way I could get compensation was if I had taken out an insurance with the previous owners. Who does that? Anyway, it got bad, so I asked a charity shop if they would like the bed, (not my still perfect mattress) just to get it taken away free, told them about the slats etc. And they said no, as it was difficult to get them repaired etc. So, It had to be a new bed, a delivery charge on that, a charge on putting it together, and a charge on taking the old but still, very nice bed away. As a last resort.. Yes, I'm getting on a bit, it took a while! I found the slats on Amazon. A bit nervous about the sizes/fitting etc. And so thrilled with them, they were so easy to fix, just like a jig saw. I have saved myself around £700!! My bed as good as new. Very happy! My husband and I not DIY in any way at all, just measured the one or two remaining whole ones, bit of debating and an argument or two !? And hey presto. Thank you.

Normally, I wouldn't write a review when the wrong item was delivered. I ordered this item to replace the slat holders on the centre rail of the bed, as advertised. Unfortunately, slat holders for the side rail were delivered instead.I should say that the slat holders appeared similar to my existing ones, and would fit as described, but unfortunately the wrong item was delivered (and returned).My concern, however, is that the packaging is not clearly marked as to whether these are for the side rail or the centre rail, therefore I have no confidence in ordering again, and would advise buyers to exercise caution as I think similar mix-ups could recur quite easily.

Bought these in error (wanted the side holders) but on receipt they were well packaged and were of a good quality. Because these were ordered in error i have had to return them but Bishops Beds have been excellent to deal with and i have now ordered the corect one's from the same company.

The plastic bed slat holders that came with my new metal bed frame were flimsy, thin and not up to the job. I was fixing the slats every couple of days whenever any weight was put on the bed.I bought these bed slat holders to replace my original ones and the fit is excellent. They are sturdy and longer than the original ones and I haven't had to adjust the bed once since using them- irrelevant of the weight or weight proportion on the bed.Such a cheap, easy solution for a problem that was driving me mad.

BEWARE!!!!Description states ‘centre holder for two slates’. Label on plastic bag packaging says ‘centre holders’. These are NOT centre holders, they are side holders.In a shock surprise for a change the only correct information associated with this listing is the photos that actually do show side holders...Waste of time and money...Suggest Bishops Beds / Amazon pickers / packers learn the difference between one and two openings, side vs centre and edit the listing accordingly.Opted for this brand as they appeared to be of superior quality to other brands listed on Amazon, now I am going to have to give them a go and hope.Completely unfit for the purpose purchased for. Returning. Would like 0 stars if possible...

Excellent product unlike similar slat holders sold on Amazon Bishops Beds show all dimensions of slat holder enabling purchaser to make an informed choice. Thoroughly recommend Bishops Beds

Je les ai cherché partout sans en trouver. Super produit, maintenant à voir dans le temps si c'est assez solide ou pas !

Attention, il ne s'agit pas d'une fixation (centrale) munie de 2 embouts pour 2 lattes distinctes mais d'une fixation à 1 seul embout.

cet article correspondait à ce dont j'avais besoin donc à recommander pour ceux qui cherchent la même chose - tout va bien

Attention les images ne correspondent pas. Il s'agit des images pour le produit "side rail" Ici les embouts doivent être au milieu et non sur le coté. De plus c'est le produit pour 2 lattes de part et d'autre, donc on devrait voir 2 ouvertures. Commande reçue en 2 jours mais ai été induit en erreur par mauvaises images sur le produit.
