I bought these glasses as a 40th present for my friend.They arrived well packaged in bubble wrap to deal with Amazons less than professional delivery team.The glasses were in two boxes, one white plain (ish) outer box. One very stylish flip top box as shown in the pictures for the product.The glasses themselves had a good weight and looked even better in real life.I have a £50 whiskey glass my self and these are comparable in quality.I almost did not pass them on as a present, but was tempted to keep them myself.However friendship won out.For a small company the quality is excellent I heartily reccomend these glasses.

These are the second set of glasses I have ordered from Ashcroft. The first set "the Diamond Cut" glasses were a gift for my Brother and I was very impressed with the quality so decided to treat myself to a set of the Twist Whisky Glasses. As a member of the Scottish Malt Whisky Society, I like to drink quality Whisky and drinking it from the Ashcroft Twist glasses adds to the decadence of the whole experience. The glasses are very high quality and have a nice weight to them. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the packaging is divine. If this is not enough then their customer service is out of this world. I would buy more products from Ashcroft purely for their customer service as in this day and age attention to detail is a dying trend.I would recommend these glasses to anyone who likes quality! I myself will be expanding on my collection as 2 glasses is not enough to accommodate my friends ; )

These are really heavy and quality glasses - I bought them for my husband for Christmas and he was really pleased too with them. They come in really nice magnetic packaging, which makes them perfect as a gift.I have found sometimes that whisky glasses can be rather old fashioned and somewhat dated, but these are neither, and are unique and perfect for someone with a more up to date taste.Because of their quality I can imagine them lasting a long time.I really like them, and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Really nice glasses, unlike cheap ones those are very thick and heavy, so it easy to tell that no savings has been done on quality or materials. They arrive in a nice box as well with an invitation to become a tester for Ashfcroft products. Price may be questionable, but if you believe 40£ is too much then you are probably not the target for such product (on the other hand I'm not sure Amazon is a place for selling premium, expensive items)

These glasses are fantastic! I bought them as a Christmas present for my wife but knew that I would also be benefiting from them myself. They look great and feel real sturdy in the hand, I don't feel like I have to delicately handle them and worry about breaking them every time I put them back on the table. When I hand someone a drink in these glasses it's typically greeted with a comment along the line of 'these are cool glasses'.No issue with the glasses whatsoever, but I had to contact the seller 'Ashcroft Fine Glassware' and all I can say is they provided fantastic customer support. I wouldn't think twice about buying another product from them again.

You may feel it is over priced, go ahead and order it, it is value for money paid, superior quality, very practical ergonomically design as if it is made to factor the grip. Sturdy, Strong and would not slip out of the hand. If you want quality this is it.

The glasses arrived on time, were well packaged and in an attractive presentation box. As was after a new whisky tumbler something different and this pair didn't disappoint. Although it's unique shape doesn't look like a it will sit well in the hand there actually surprisingly comfortable to hold. Very pleased with service from Ashcroft as they kept in contact though every step of the purchase. Would highly recommend there products, service and look forward to seeing future products from them. An excellent present for any whisky enthusiastic.

I have just received my glasses today. Arrived in perfect condition and the presentation box they came in is lovely...so as a gift for someone they would be ideal.I purchased them for myself, as I do have a soft spot for good quality glassware. Got to tell you they are of the highest standard... just the right weight and sits in your hand well. The design is beautiful. I'm now looking to buy more Ashcroft to add to my collection. Customer service I received was excellent...very happy.
