The jury is still out but they are on strike 2
I put out 8 of these in my yard to help with a mole/vole problem I have each year. They aren't very robust so you have to be careful installing them. Need to have the hole ready because you will break them if you push down on them. I used a piece of rebar to create the hole. I kept rotating it around and round until I had the depth and clearance I needed. The worst part is the beeping. My neighbors even brought it up so I had to move a couple of them. They will definitely have to be turned off if we are out in our backyard. I knew they were going to beep so that is on me. Wife is NOT happy...A couple of them have fogged up after rain so I am concerned that they electronics are going to fail prematurely. The moles have trenched within 6 inches of two of the deterrents so I went out today and installed a couple of the scissor traps. On the bright side, in one area by my driveway that they always tear up, I haven't seen any signs so maybe all is not lost. OR they just haven't gotten there yet this year.

They work GREAT!!
The moles were destroying my garden. I had tried everything, and couldn't get rid of them!I set these out in the garden around 3pm-ish, as quick as i could get them unwrapped. All the moles disappeared by the next morning. In fact, I haven't had a new mole run within 100 ft. of the garden since.I love them so much, this is my second set!

One stopped working within a week
So they are in the sun and I didn’t see any ground hog BUT one already stopped working. I placed them in the yard one week ago.

Smaller than you think
It really works despite its smaller size

They are annoying but seem to work
The media could not be loaded. First off make sure there about a inch to 2 inch above ground. You want them in the ground as much as possible as they cause a vibration which is what keeps the rodents away. It also will make a buzzing sound every 20 secs which isn't bad but the sound is noticeable so if that doesn't bother you than there good. We live in the country and have lots of raccoons they aren't bothered by them infact they actually took them out of the ground and took it back to there beds... so just be careful of that lolOverall they seem to keep the groundhog mamma we have in the area eith her babies away from our home and out in the field instead. Love that there solar powered and no need to check on them just make sure in sunny area

Rabbit be gone
Do not waste your money on these things they do not work. I put them in right after I planted for new pepper plants and the rabbits ate them that night so they just went around these devices. They didn’t touch the tomatoes, but they ate the peppers down to the system don’t buy.

Two weeks mole/vole free so far!
Every spring, our backyard seems to be the #1 travel destination for moles and voles. Besides the obvious possible ground/garden/foundation damage, this has attracted some snakes from the "flood plain" (swamp) just beyond our property line. The snakes aren't dangerous, but they creep me out. Getting a cat is out of the question for a number of reasons. We've tried both natural and chemical deterrents with varying (but never total) success. Saw these on amazon and pulled the trigger. Installation is a snap, just switch 'em on and stick 'em in the ground. So far, we're clear of pests. Two things to keep in mind though -- 1.) Make sure you place them in areas that get as much direct sunlight as possible. 2.) Two of ours were placed in the grass which gets mowed every week, so I placed little marker flags next to each so I don't run them over every weekend. I might paint the sides and part of the stakes neon orange or something at some point.
