DysonDC39 DC41 Vacuum Cleaner YDK YV-16K24F Motor 240V

I thought the motor dying in our DC41 was end of life for it. Turns out it is harder to find a replacement DC41 or similar than it is to get a new motor. I'm so glad I changed the motor. It is like having a brand new DC41 again for a fraction of the price. The replacement motor fitted better than the original and it seems to provide as good suction as I can remember it ever doing before. It came with a genuine Dyson spare label on the box.If you've already got the old motor out, getting the new one in is easy once you've changed over the overheat protection fuse.If you haven't stripped out the dead motor yet, you will need a variety of torx screwdrivers to do it including some tiny long shaft ones. There are plenty of videos online that show how to do it.

Replaced motor as old one burnt out and disintegrated brushes filled inside with carbon. New motor was a perfect fit and works perfectly. Also changed post Hepa filter as that was clogged with carbon. Now have a great suction again.

Fitted vacuum perfectly and worked

Worked a treat, bit of a pain to fit, they don’t make it easy. The electrical contacts were slightly different to those on the motor it was replacing but was able to swap them over easily. All worked well once it was back together.

First off the original motor should have not burnt out. Second off if you have to replace the motor as it has burnt out or failed, it really is best to replac the HEPA Post Filter assembly too. It is a relatively straightforward job, there are tutorials on web to help you (google and youtube), but they only go so far. As typical with Dyson, there are plastic clips that are so tight they are really difficult to unclip, even with knowledge and experience without breaking them as they require a lot of controlled force - and yes I am talking about the motor housing...I replaced all mine, which took me longer that I thought and it does the job as expected. Not the cheapest f motors, but pretty powerful.

Original Dyson YDK motor. But remember how it came to bits and go’s back together. Exactly as described and £20 cheaper than most.Bit fiddly to rebuild.

Moteur parfaitement adaptable pour un moteur type YV-16K24F, qui se trouve dans un dyson DC 29 animal pro, la seule manipulation que j’ai dû exercer, c’est le changement de la platine de connectivité avec les cosses fourni avec le moteur par celle du moteur d’origine. Cela se fait extrêmement facilement et simplement, par le démontage des dites cosses et une vis cruciforme, cela prend environ 2 minutes à peine. Ensuite au niveau aspiration, elle est identique à l’origine, voir un poil en dessous. Très bon achat pour ma part au vu du prix du moteur original vendu par dyson. Ci joint les photos d’origine de mon aspirateur.

J'ai utilisé ce model de moteur pour le monter sur un dyson dc33c

Si mes souvenirs sont bons, je n'ai eu aucun problème pour replacer ce moteur. Le moteur reçu est compatible pour aspirateur Dyson
