Mercers Furniture Corona Economy 3 Drawer Chest

I like the fact that this has a straight bottom, unlike the other Mexican Furniture I have.Was very easy to put together although not enough dowels to stop drawers coming all the way out, luckily I had some left from previous purchased where there were too many.. Not enough nails either to attach the back panel completely... Also had spare from past purchases. One of the drawer fronts is a bit bowed and a couple of the drawer runners were split, only on the smallest part, so not too bad a problem.Am happy with this as it looks nice once assembled and the drawers are nice and big, which is why I purchased it, to hold my spare bedding for my bed and my three grandchildrens beds at mine, also managed to fit their very large towels in it also.A bargain and is real wood, which I prefer. Glad I took the chance and a great price.

Good luck if you buy it ,I brought 2 and they are very hard to build only my determination, swearing and breaks, got them up ,there not sturdy only the hardboard back piece, that doesn't fit right on one of them, keeps it upright .play about with the draws move them top, middle, or bottom and you may get them to fit properly

It's a nice looking chest of drawers once you've managed to figure out the instructions.We had to take a few minutes to label the pieces before assembly so it would make it easier if they did that like any other manufacturers to speed up the assembly process.

So, I was very put off buying this simply due to the reviews. However I convinced myself to get it as it looked great and the price was also great. It is a very time consuming build but if you follow the instructions carefully you'll be fine, and now, the final product is something I am so happy with! For the money it is amazing, hard to build but worth it when it's done. Just have a team mate and you'll be fine.

I like corona stuff and I usually buy from mercers. No issues putting together but as with nearly all wood furniture stuff sometimes thin panels supplied are warped. No issues when hammering in but sometimes so bent that not even nails will hold it down. Anyway still like and will buy again. Just a small annoyance is all.

Having bought a few items from the Corona range I couldn't hide my disappointment when I first felt the quality of the wood for the drawers. It felt considerably different to draws on the other items (I guess this is why it's classed as budget) but I cracked on with putting them (I bought two) together and overall it's still a good product. Sturdy and nice smooth movement on the drawers. I put one together on my own in about 2 hours. If you purchase, I'd leave putting the top runners for the drawers until the top is on though just to give you a bit of extra room with a longer screw driver.

Excellent! Arrived In 3 days. I was looking for a thick deep drawer, managed to fit all of my clothes away nicely. Looks amazing too! I buy a lot of this furniture and treat the wood myself.. Love it.

It is not as nice as I had hoped it to be when finished. I have put this sort of thing together before so took my time over a few days. I put one upside down otherwise it welt together quite well. One of the draws still looks as if it will have a problem when shutting though.Quite frankly there are good wooden chest of drawers at that price already made and the older type. Those I prefer. I don't think the quality in general is good with this sort of think now.
