Saved me a lot of money to fix a self-made problem
It took me less than 15 minutes from opening the box to having it set up and tested, and I was very impressed with the picture quality and the ease of use.I hadn't planned on buying an endoscope, but after dropping a small ratchet into an inaccessible area of the engine in my truck while replacing a part, I needed some way of finding the ratchet, and then retrieving it.At this point I started researching endoscopes and saw there were wired and wireless models, and after careful consideration I decided on the wireless model since one that is wired to my phone would have a high probability of accidentally pulling my phone off of wherever it was sitting at some point, possibly damaging the phone. It turned out the wireless option worked great, and I was able to have my phone up on the front windshield while I worked in the engine compartment without any worries. The one recommendation I would make to anyone getting this endoscope and needs to retrieve something is also get a flexible claw grabber as well. I used the endoscope to find the item to be retrieved, and while watching the video on my phone was able to maneuver the claw grabber into position and get the item. The endoscope does come with a small magnet attachment, but once attached it blocks the forward camera so you can only see from the side camera, which makes it hard to see the object you want to retrieve.

Works as advertised
Image clarity is amazing, plus the addition of a side view camera and light really makes this a very useful tool. The blue tooth connection to my phone was easy and gives me great flexibility.

This is the newer version Vs the older version
This company definitely knows how to put us in dilemma. They released a newer version which is an improvement over the older version but not necessarily a better version. Later on, I'll add images of both the older vs newer version(camera images old vs new, cable thickness, cable sagging on old version, new version not working when connected to device directly)Older Version Pros:Cheaper: $32 for older version vs $43 for newer versionMore flexible: The cable's thinner and softer than the newer version. This makes the older version better for narrow and twisted spacesDoesn't require an extra battery to work: The older version works directly when plugged into your phone or tablet.Better light: The max light strength is better on the older versionOlder version Cons:Cable attached to phone: The older version is hard to work with when you work alone and need to twist the cable for better camera hook angleCable too soft: The older version's cable can't stand straight like in the image where someone put it up in the air conditioning vent on top.Camera 2MP not clear enough: The camera is not good enough to pick up small details in dark space. No side camera: Older version has no side camera and needs to attach a mirror to the camera head to see the sides but that attachment stops you from adding another attachment and the mirror can break from the camera head easily.Camera thread length for hooks attachments not long enough: The attachments of the older version rotates 2 mm deep on the camera head vs 3 mm for the newer version which means that it's easier for the older version to lose the attachments than the newer version due to shocks in tight spaces.Newer Version Pros:Cable not attached to phone: You can place your phone or tablet somewhere and easily work and twist the newer cable alone.Cable truly semi-rigid: The newer version has a true semi-rigid cable which goes straight up against gravity for a good distance enough to reach a ceiling vent.Camera 2K clear enough: The camera is better on the newer version and clear enough to see small details.Side camera: Newer version has a built-in side camera which makes it better to view different angles without sacrifice for another attachment.Camera thread length for hooks long enough: The newer version has 3 mm deeper attachment length which secures the attachment better than the older version.Newer version Cons:More expensive: $43 vs $32Less flexible: The newer version is quite rigid and hard to twist in small-tight spaces and forcing it might break the attachments and damage the camera.Cannot work without the extra battery: While the extra battery combined to wifi connection free the phone from the cable, however it's impossible to use the newer version by plugging its usb-c cable directly to your phone like the older version. This means that once the external battery dies, the whole cable becomes useless.

Great cameras forward and at 90 degrees
I love this set. It has two cameras one that looks forward and one that looks 90 degrees. Resolution is excellent. I've used it look unders concrete slabs for inspection and claims and it works great. It easy to set up and easy to use and takes great videos. I was reticent initially because it used Wi-Fi and it's not clear in the description but the Wi-Fi connection is between your phone and the bore scope camera. It does not need external Wi-Fi to operate and some of the poor reviews came from people who did not understand that. I highly recommend this borescope, it's great and a great value.

Best of all WiFi endoscopes
This has been the longest lasting endoscope I’ve owned. And I’ve owned over 20 in the last 3 years because of my profession as an HVAC tech. Also the right angle lense is an extremely helpful feature. The cable is extremely long and a slight nuisance to keep together however I can see how this would be a huge plus for someone else using it differently.I expose mine to temperatures up to 180 degrees or so frequently. Still works great. I will 100% buy another if this one breaks.

It works, but questionably better imagery.
Several years ago I purchased a name brand borescope that I have used on automotives to easily look into tight areas, plumbing to locate items dropped in the drain or confirm whether an obstruction exists from tree roots, and running cables between residential walls. It’s worked fine at an advertised resolution of 720p and a sturdy cable about 2 meters long. But the prospect of getting finer visual acuity and the ease of linking the device to my smart phone for recording purposes was appealing. This device has a much longer cable, but I haven’t needed the extra length and question if its rigidity would handle the rigors of snaking inside walls or similar tight and non-linear paths. The image quality is good, but no more spectacular than what I have been accustomed to - and one bit of debris means retraction to clean the lens anyway. I can’t objectively measure the resolution, which would warrant fewer stars if I could. It works and is in the toolbox, but frankly the old stand alone bore sight continues to be the first choice. Also, it’s a bit cumbersome to disconnect the WiFi on my phone, connect to this device while in use, and then reconnect to WiFi. That’s not a design flaw, it’s just the reality of using a device in tandem with the phone.
