Bought these for 2 year old a few months ago and he still loves them. Pages curl up a bit after some use, but overall still in good condition. The markers it comes with work fine for traveling, but when at home a bit of water with a paint brush works much better.

The images appear with the water pen. Let the pages dry and the images disappear until you 'color' them again with the water pen. No mess. Very sturdy pages. We have used these books over and over. Love it!

The photo I took shows that they can get scratched up after awhile and the binding can get twisted off also. Twisting it back on is easy. I don’t mind the scratches because we use these very often. My 1 year old finds them entertaining and will play with these at restaurants or car rides and they’ve lasted pretty well.

They are okay for the price. If looking for the long lasting quality these are not for you. My grandkids ended up scratching off the coating on several pictures with the water pen. The other issue was the spiral binding twisted out the end just from use so I had to fix each time they are used to prevent the pages from falling apart

I bought these for my kids for a activity on long car rides. They work very well. I only gave 4 stars because I don't believe they will hold up as well as the melissa and Doug brand. But overall a good bang for your buck

Unlike the Melissa and Doug water coloring books, you can see what the pictures are before you even get water on the pages.

We purchased to keep our baby busy with something on a plane. This kept her busy for 30 mins or so.
