This product is my sons' number one hair lotion. It smells good and it makes their hair silky smooth. It's hard to find this in LA so we're happy it's available in amazon

I've been using Shea Moisture since coming back to natural over 10 years ago. A Shea Moisture product has never dissapointed me. Until now. I have a short natural TWA that I style with the Twist It Up Comb. Lately my hair has been lookin' kinda dry. When I saw this product promising "deep moisturizing", I picked it up without even Googling reviews.The first time I used it, my hair appeared even drier than usual. I thought it might be my shampoo and conditioner. I was ready to put the blame on anything but this Shea Moisture product. Next wash day, I used another leave-in and my hair, fortunately, didn't look as dry as it did with this product. I tried a different shampoo/conditioner combo and tried this product again. Same crusty lookin' results. After about my third time, and my third denial cos there's no wayyyyy Shea Moisture is leaving my hair lookin' crusty, my brain kicked in and said, "alcohol! Check the ingredients for alcohol." My hair doesn't respond well to hair products with alcohol which is why I can't use Cantu products. When I checked this products ingredients, sure enough, there it was. Alcohol. I hope this isn't the intervention of Sundial because, as I've mentioned, never had a problem with Shea Moisture before. Anywho, kudos to all whom this products works for. It definitely ain't for me.

This product is amazing in all I use it everyday, but it's not the best product for soft hair
