I have tested the oh and it seems pretty accurate seems to be quite sturdy

Seriously not worth the hassle it just tell you what you can figure out yourself. Waste of my money

Does not work, only works when you touch the green read out body. You can take different position readings and have mixed results. Not a reliable tool.

Easy enough to use but I'm not sure about the results. Maybe everything I test is slightly on the alkaline side of neutral or maybe it is just set up to show this reading. I'm not convinced but may be being unfair to the tool. Successive fertilising makes no difference to reading, nor does ericaceous compost. Stopped using it.

Bought this to test the pH of our soil but have also used it to test moisture levels in pots. As mentioned by others you do need to keep the probes clean and from the start it is best to remove any oxidisation. The seller is aware of this and it seems a shame they do not supply an abrasive cloth with the package. I used a piece of very fine sandpaper. The other factor that buyers need to be aware of is the probe needs to put 6 inches into the soil - not always possible.

I used this to treat some sick plants and it worked well, tells you ph and light and wetness of soil. Very light, easy to use, easy to clean
