I absolutely love this item!!

The barrel is short and it says the temperature can be raised to higher than 230 with adjusting the +/- buttons but this doesn’t have any buttons for adjusting. It only reaches 230 degrees. It doesn’t do what it says.

Teenage daughters have quite a few items like this. This one is just ok. As noted by others, the complaint is just not enough heat generated to really be effective. It wasn’t overly expensive so there’s that but I’d like to see better performance form it.

Nicely designed curling/flat iron. The plates heat evenly and quickly. I found the cord a bit on the shorter side. At the highest temperature there wasn't any smoking, thankfully. It's straightening capability on coarser hair is a 6 out of 10. The clamping feature takes a little effort when straightening.

Pulled my hair didnt like it at all

Got this for my wife and she loves it. Great price for a product like this, and she uses it everyday in the morning before work. Highly recommend it for both long and short hair.
