Bought 2, 1 Defective
I bought 2 for my granddaughters. One of them started smoking when they put batteries in so it is being sent back for refund. Thanks for supplying the mailing label.

Multiple functions don’t work
This purchase is a huge disappointment. The machine does not pair with Bluetooth as it’s supposed to. None of the pre recorded songs work. And one of the indicator lights does not work. Also the web page for the product says there is an app that goes with the kids machine - but there does not appear to be any app - I search on my iPhone and found nothing. Not a good product at all.

Mala calidad
Fue un regalo y el sonido no funcionó bien y el micrófono se desprende y va y viene el sonido.

It's great if your kids don't understand it doesn't work
This is probably the best just OK product I've reviewed. If it were me I would give it to stars but both of my kids really like it. They like it because they don't know that it doesn't work very well. And they're 1 and 3 so pretending is fun.In theory this should be an excellent child's toy. It has volume control the parents love. And what kid doesn't like to sing and dance? It has three popular songs already loaded onto it. These are If You're Happy and You Know It, twinkle twinkle, and I forget what the other one is. There are also some sound effects that are pre-recorded and loaded onto the machine and those are also pretty cool.In theory the machine is supposed to work via Bluetooth or with the pre-recorded songs. And children are supposed to be able to karaoke with the songs. But it also has the ability that you can record when they are singing for up to 3 minutes. Two of these things do not work properly. If you choose to Bluetooth which you probably will because three songs will wear you out quickly, the Bluetooth is spotty at best. No Bluetooth connection repeatedly gets lost and connected lost and connected. It is so annoying. Then there's the microphone. Total trash. It doesn't work very well at all. When it does work it's because it's basically in your mouth. And then it still doesn't work properly. So the recording of you singing well it's just not great.Again though my children love it. They're also Toddlers and they think that they should eat the microphone so that puts it in perspective for you.

The Concept Is Great But Execution is a Mess
My 4 and 5 year old do love this (which is why it's getting 2 stars instead of 1). They are into singing and dancing and will probably make great Karaoke singers when they get older with the way they are always pretending to sing into a microphone (whether it be a spoon or a crayon or whatever they find). I thought this would be perfect for them. They love it because they have no idea it isn't working right (keeping the bluetooth connection consistent is a joke and you literally have to have your mouth pretty much on the microphone to sing with it). It works for my girls because they think the mic should be up to their mouths when they sing anyway, and when the bluetooth disconnects they think it's fine and they just keep on singing. Not only does it have features that don't work right, but it's missing features it should have (like volume control that lets parents set the volume because there's nothing like relaxing and suddenly hearing this thing blast while your daughter sings what sounds like death metal into it). The concept is great, they just really messed up in terms of execution.

Easy to set up and kid friendly, but Bluetooth is wonky
Out of the box, read the instructions. Okay, we did not read the instructions (okay, read into that statement that I did not read the instructions), but it really was pretty easy to set up this kids singing machine. Well, mostly. Anyway, getting the singing machine out of the box was the most challenging part. It took a bit of care to avoid doing anything catastrophic to the singing machine, but we got there!Once everything was out of the box, it takes an itty bitty Phillips screwdriver to open the battery box, and three AAA batteries (not included) to power the singing machine. There is a plug for a power supply, but the cord for that is not included. The microphone, which the box describes as a Mic Guy, is kind of reminiscent of a minion. The microphone plugs into the back of the singing machine, which is where other plugs are located for another microphone and an external audio input. The singing machine comes with a 20 inch line-in cable to connect to any audio device with a compatible audio output. This singing machine includes lots of functions. The singing machine includes three pre-recorded songs and three pre-recorded sound effects. Singing can be recorded, and the singing machine includes Bluetooth compatibility to stream music from any Bluetooth compatible device. Now though we have pointed out the features, we also need to point out the downsides, of which there are two.First, the microphone is really sensitive to distance from the microphone. It helps to turn the volume up, but the user's mouth still needs to be right on top of the microphone. Of course, kids love drooling all over the microphone, so the distance is not a big deal for kids, except for passing germs from one kid to the next. Microphone is a borderline fail, but maybe another microphone might be better. It would be an interesting experiment. The second is going to be a big deal for some people. Bluetooth connectivity is spotty. Sometimes it is on, and sometimes not. Of course, old-fashioned people that use a hard-wire connection to an audio output will not have any issues with music into the singing machine. Now, the issues have to be considered in view of value. This singing machine is throw-away cheap. We have seen toys that seem like they should have been in this price range but cost far more, so our assessment of value is well above average. After this singing machine gets dropped in the tub (no AC adapter, please!), or makes a few rounds through the sprinkler, or gets a tea party drink dropped on it, throwing this thing away should cause nary a tear. Our rating is four stars. Now, a couple of points here. We took a star off for a microphone that could be better and spotty Bluetooth. However, if we were more wedded to Bluetooth, we probably would have taken off more stars. Fortunately, we still live in a prior decades (pick any one), and our audio devices have audio output by way of a connector. Yippee skippy for us. Not so much for the iPhone generation. Being old-fashioned sometimes has its perks. Additionally, the value of this toy is great, which in our mind makes up for some of the deficiencies of the microphone and Bluetooth. So, four stars it is!Enjoy!
